GREAT Helmet at budget price
I finally decided to a get a full-face helmet after riding with a 3/4ths for a few months. I wear prescription glasses, so I was specifically looking at modular helmets that might fit my glasses underneath. I decided on the GLX 339 after some research, and am very happy with my decision! The fit is as expected-- Amazon didn't have a sizing chart, but if you search the web for GLX helmet sizing chart you'll find one. I measured my head, ordered a Large, and it fits perfectly. It arrived in great condition, and looks fantastic. I got White to match my bike. It comes with a cloth helmet bag with the GLX logo on it. Modular operation and flip-down sun visor works great-- smooth and easy to manipulate. I don't think the weight is a problem; other reviews have mentioned it's heavy, but I've worn it for a few hours at a time and didn't experience any neck fatigue or anything. Wind noise is about normal, I guess? I've never had a 'nice' Shoi or Icon to compare it to, but the full-face Bell helmets I've used have about the same amount of noise. At or above 40mph, if you turn your head left, there is a slight whistle. Cons: -The metal D-rings and button where you secure the strap need to be extended out a little-- as is, they're about 1inch or less from the edge of the helmet which makes it a little difficult to strap on, although it's not really 'hard'. -There's a chin wind guard that could be extended out a bit further for more comfort. -Air leakage with modular piece down and vents closed-- there's a small stream of air hitting right above my eyebrows at ~55mph when there shouldn't be. I think this is a sealing problem around the top of the visor. I think I can fix it with a small piece of foam, but I imagine that for others this may be a breeze hitting their eye which could be problematic. Those cons are pretty nit-picky, but that's about it. I love this helmet. With a little practice, I can now put the helmet on or take it off without removing my glasses which was the main reason I went with this type. Everything fits well, the sun visor is a godsend, and the modular flip-up and down makes me feel like Iron Man! I would definitely purchase again.

Well worth it on a budget.
I always spend HOURS reading reviews about many of the items I purchase, it really makes a difference. After much research on motorcycle helmets, I settled on this one. No, it isn't the highest quality, but it will not fall apart under normal use. It is really durable and I would trust it to last for quite a few years. The air vent on the top was broken when I got it, but GLX customer service was knowledgeable and quick to solve the problem at no cost to me. My advice is to pick the next size up if you are on the edge... but be sure that your helmet does fit snugly! PROS: Sun visor (some reviewers said it broke soon... so far mine is doing well) Solid mechanisms for visors Slick matte-black finish that holds up well Comfortable interior and padding Friendly to eyewear (I wear eyeglasses with no discomfort at all) CONS: Chin strap could use more padding, but not horrible None that I can think of, but will update if that changes All in all, a great helmet. Do yourself a favor and spend a little more for something a little nicer like this GLX... I have had a few cheaper ones and they always end up defecting in some way or coming up short. Stop shopping for a helmet, buy this one, and get out and RIDE!!!

very good quality for the price
I've used this helmet for a month or so and really like it. The casing is solid and the fit is great. I like it has the option of chin guard down or up, visor down and up as well as the tinted lens. I had a bit of trouble with the tinted internal lens but got that sorted pretty quick. Other reviewers commented on the high level of wind noise and I have to agree with them on that. But with all things considered, its not a big deal. The helmet is nice and light - and with the chin guard in the up position, it does not feel unbalanced. I really like this one and I'm sure the more expensive brands are nicer but I'm more than happy with this. I heartily recommend this model to other riders.

Great Helmet
I'm very happy with this helmet. For years I've had an open face helmet with a plastic shield and my face would freeze when riding in cool weather. I was afraid that a full face helmet would limit my field of view and make me feel enclosed rather than free (which is what riding a motorcycle is all about). I have to say that I REALLY like this helmet over my old open face helmet. It has good ventilation in the front and on the top. The interior is very well padded and the pads are removable so they can be washed. My favorite features however are the modular design (being able to easily flip open the front of the helmet is great), the dual visor is very cool. The shaded visor comes down far enough to keep the sun out of your eyes and the lever that operates the inside visor works beautifully. I do wish they had put it on the right side of the helmet and not the left (my clutch hand) but really that's just my preference. The matte finish on the helmet is gorgeous. I did see where one person had an issue when setting the helmet on concrete and the matte finish got scuffed, but honestly I any helmet that is scraped across concrete is going to at least scuff.
