My nearly 15-year-old B&D corded drill finally went to that home improvement toolbox in the sky, and I needed to get a new one for the small chores around the house. This one came with a bunch of stuff including two batteries. It's a drill and it does drill stuff well. It has a good weight, it's nicely balanced, and it works. It allows me to get in spaces that I couldn't with the corded drill, and that means that I've been able to catch up on "Honey Do" chores. The only downside, and this is important for those in the US, is that the drills, sockets, etc., are all metric. Since it's advertised as a 3/8" drill, I had naturally assumed that those parts would be in standard units, too, but that's not the case. But it's not a problem. I still have the drills, etc., from my DeWalt kits that I had purchased for use with my old B&D, and they work just fine. It's important to me because a lot of things are in standard measurements, not metric, but at least from the drill's point of view, that doesn't matter. Longevity remains to be seen since it's replacing a very old American standard. But it works well and I can recommend it with the caveat.

I am happy the day I decided to buy this drill. I have been using mine over two years and I planned to get a second for my crew these are very effective and cost efficient!

This was a great deal and works great overall, and I do love having the case and 2 batteries. The torque isn't the greatest however, and I subtracted one star for that. I had to resort to my old plug in drill when I needed major torque, using 3 inch screws connected a couple 2 x 4's.

My 20 year old Makita drill finally died and I needed a new one. When this arrived it instantly felt good in my hand. It's easy to load and unload the drill bits and it comes with a small supply of bits and screwdrivers. That was an unexpected bonus. It also comes with two batteries and a snake-like thing that allows you to drill or screwdrive around a corner and/or in tight places. It's hard to describe just how nicely this fits in my hand. It seems a little bit smaller than the Makita. It's definitely lighter (which is nice) and the bright orange color makes it look rally sharp. I'm just a weekend handyman, I'm not someone who makes my living with tools and this is really the perfect drill for our household. FWIW, my wife also likes this drill, she does the occasional craft project that requires drill and hammer and saw. We have a desk and bookcase to put together this weekend and I'm looking forward to using this for all the screws.

This is a great little drill! The size and weight make it a joy to use. I love that the charging cord plugs directly into the (2!!) included batteries obviating the need for a charger or going without when one battery is spent. I haven't put the power to the test, but it hasn't failed me so far.

We have a cordless 12V Ryobi drill already that we love, and it's great for little household tasks, and we have a heavier-duty Black & Decker corded drill, but we wanted something more powerful AND cordless. That's where this drill comes in. We shopped around for the best specs and value and decided this was our winner. It comes with so many extras and barely cost more than my less powerful drill. Also love the hard case that came with it. It has spots in the lid for all included accessories. Best part is that it comes with TWO batteries! My other cordless only came with one, so this was a bonus too. We are planning to build some patio furniture once the weather cools down so can't wait to see how this drill performs at those tasks!

Works well u won't regret the purchase.... Giving this review over a year later

The drill and accessories are great. I charged the battery's twice and the battery charger stopped working. This was three weeks after return date ran out. I now have to find a 20 volt charger for the batterys or the drill is worthless.
