I wholeheartedly recommend this product. Its necessity may not be fully appreciated until a critical moment arises, such as discovering circular indentations on your wall. I personally achieved excellent results by incorporating additional rubbing matting, typically utilized for stamp creation, alongside some rubber cement to enhance cushioning. This combination has proven to be remarkably effective, significantly improving the gate's stability compared to its original state. It has consistently maintained its position, even with my cat repeatedly climbing over it.

We had to move the location of the baby gate we use to keep our dog from eating the cat’s food, and found it was a few inches too short. I did not want to buy a new baby gate and these extenders worked perfectly so now the baby gate fits in our hallway. The back of these extenders is very non-slip so I’m not worried about the gate falling or becoming unstable and it was pretty easy for me to install them by myself in about 10 minutes, though it would definitely go faster and easier with 2 people. Overall I’m very happy with my purchase.

Great little tool to more prevent dents on the wall from gates BUT became loose over time and required frequent adjusting

I give a 4 star because it says 4 inches and is actually 4 inches with both sides combined. That means that is basically 2 inches on each side (piece) and they don't explain that. I tried to improvise but it doesn't work so good for me. Now I have to oder another ones that are longer and return this ones 😏 Other than that are exactly as the picture

We did not want to drill into our walls to install our baby gates, so I purchased these instead. So far they are working great! We used these instead of adding an extension piece in our larger wall opening. They are pretty sturdy, even with our son pulling himself up. I'm just happy we didn't drill into our walls! These were a quick and easy fix!

My gate is very old and thought I was going to need to buy a new gate. the extender that came with my gate just made the gate even more unstable then I found these and thought I'd give them a try. They worked perfectly and made the gate more stable then it has ever been. My gate is at least 10 years old and I expect it to last another 10 years or more now with these great extenders. I now need a set of the ones that protect the wall but doesn't add any extra to the width of the gate. They really do help protect and make the gate more stable so I'll be getting more soon. Thank you for making these they will save me a lot of money since I won't have to buy new gates anytime soon.

While these are much larger than I expected, they work out very well. I'm pleased with this purchase.

Our baby gate was never secured to the walls properly as tightening it only led to the screw bulging the end cap to create a more centralized pressure point than the intent of the whole end disc. It kept moving around slightly if we bumped it or our daughter pulled on it. You could clearly see the damage to the walls and the indicator on the gate was never fully green, meaning it was never quite installed at proper tension. These extenders have solved our problem! The extra distance from the wall also eliminated our need for a gate extension, making it even more secure. They have no real installation as they are held up by the pressure of the gate (just put them between the gate and the wall), but using them made the gate installation easier than even the first time we put it up. The wide base provides the proper tension without any more damage to our walls, and there has been zero movement at any of the 4 pressure points. Definitely buy these when you buy your baby gate. Don't wait like we did and save your walls!

This was perfect for what we needed. Sturdy and holds the test of time.

We got a Lindam Easy Fit stair gate but had an issue with our skirting board on the stairs having a gap measurement of 81cm and the walls having a gap of 90cm, so the official extensions wouldn't work for us as they come in 7cm adjustments and you have to use them for both the top and bottom pressure points. The Wall Nanny Extender is great as you can either use them for all four pressure points or just the ones you need. In our case we just used them for the top two. It is very sturdy, the stair gate doesn't move at all even if I put a lot of force into it so I completely trust it with my toddler. No installation is required, just place them between the stair gate pressure points and the wall and you're sorted! They also protect the walls really well, leaving no marks. I thought the product was quite expensive for what it is which is the only thing I can fault, but I couldn't really see any other products that would have worked for us so it was well worth the money.

The Wall Nanny Extender is a seriously useful product - I bought these to enable me to fit (the gate) across stairs that are just 1cm outside the recommended dimensions of the stairgate width (the stairs are therefore not wide enough to use a gate extender). I used just two of the extenders supplied (on the plasterboard side of my stairs) - this means that the gate itself is not extended too far therefore making it also much more stable. The size of the pad of the Wall Nanny Extender means there is dispersed pressure on the Wall so there's less risk of puncturing the plasterboard. Really easy to fit so a win, win situation!

The house we move it. The hallway just a bit too wide. This is perfect. Because the gate extends was too wide will not fit. Bur just the original gate is too small. It is strong enough when you put it the gate will hold up. My 3 year old can shake on it and will not move, and one who are older than 3 are not recommended to shake it at least not full body weight.

These work great! They grip and protect your walls from the baby gate tension arms. The various sizes make it easy to customize your width needs.
