iDesign Clear Plastic Egg Holder for Fridge with Lid - 21 Egg Storage Container Organizer Bin

I'm all about clean, durable, organization. This egg tray is perfect. It holds a lot of eggs and keeps my refrigerator looking clean and organized. I can see through the clear plastic material and love the utility of this bin.

We recently bought a new French Door, counter-depth, refrigerator. I was really surprised that it did not come with an egg tray (especially in light of the cost!) since every fridge we have ever purchased has come with one. It did come with a tray for holding wine bottles-- totally useless for me as I don't drink wine... but I am getting off track. When we gave the previous refrigerator away I sent the egg tray with it, so I was without a tray for eggs. I knew I would like to have one that held more than just a dozen so I could add eggs prior to having used all of the previous dozen and this one does that. I also knew I would like to have one that is clear so I didn't have to remove it from the fridge to see how many eggs were left when making my grocery list, and this one does that too. Most important of all though was that it had to fit on the shelf without hanging off since the counter depth model has shelves that are more shallow that a typical refrigerator by several inches. This one happens to be exactly the right length to fit on the shelf without a fraction of an inch to spare. Since it has three rows (every one I owned before had only two rows), it actually holds MORE eggs that others that were too long to place in the fridge without turning them sideways. Being clear, I can see what I am doing to reach in and retrieve one or two eggs. When I need more eggs, the molded-in hook on the front makes them easy for me to retrieve them from the top shelf by gripping it to slide the tray out with one hand and then placing the other underneath the tray to support it as I transfer to the countertop. Being a short person, anything that makes accessing the top shelf easier is something I always have to consider. The tray is also very sturdy, much easier to handle than the carton that eggs are sold in. I am very happy with my decision to buy this egg holder. So much so, that I am considering purchasing the 3x4 model InterDesign Refrigerator Storage Organizer for Kitchen, Covered Egg Holder - 12 Eggs, Short Clear to hold boiled eggs instead of using a pencil to make a B on the shell like I currently do.

The quality is great and having a lid that is not attached to it makes it very comfortable. This simple feature is especially helpful when the case is in a tight space, as one can easily lift the lid from any side. After using it for a couple of months, I decided to buy a second one. As of today, the price for one is cheaper than the price for a 2-pack. In other words, it's better to buy one at $12.99 (or two at that price) than to buy the 2-pack at $33.49.

Golden treasure or the versatile incredible edible egg is quite a wonder all on its own. Then we decided to raise hens and the wonder became- I wonder what to do with all these eggs, I wonder how to store them neatly, I wonder how many people I know that want fresh eggs! Prior to that we bought the large pack of eggs from Costco where the price isn't bad but the wonky wobbly plastic container was precarious for carrying said treasure to the stove without pre-scrambling them. I'm glad the stores now offer humane certified/vegetarian fed eggs but chickens are not naturally vegetarians so I snicker at that labeling as I've witnessed my free roaming chickens eat numerous bugs and slurp down a salamander whole. Do not underestimate these small velociraptors. Oh, they also think freckles are bugs to peck at. I like the design of these because they hold 21 eggs and are stackable. This is perfect if you buy a dozen eggs when you only have a few left and try to shove the full carton in the fridge with the partial carton in some sort of dominos meets Tetris with a touch of Jenga formation - with proper storage they all go together in a tidy container and lid. Grocery store eggs will fit perfectly. Farm eggs can be oversized and I've had to lay the super-sized eggs askew to get the lid on - remember, it isn't a suitcase so don't smash to make them fit! When I first bought this container we had six laying hens, then we added 21 more chickens except Surprise! one was a rooster, so twenty laying hens and I went ahead and ordered a second container. I'm considering buying more as a gift to those who accept our overabundance of farm fresh eggs. These are very durable and clean up quickly. I've only handwashed which takes seconds so I couldn't tell you how they'd do in a dishwasher. I've been handwashing everything here in off-grid land for five years and it's amazingly faster - but either way it holds eggs, washes easily and makes your fridge look a bit more organized.

It's perfect. Low profile so it fits under the auxiliary drawer and is out of site. Protects the eggs and helps keep them fresh. It's light and easy to clean.

I purchased this clear 21 egg tray about a month ago and am very pleased with it. In fact, it is much better than I expected. It fits perfectly into one of the fridge's door compartments and the removable lid is great for holding additional storage. The quality of the tray is excellent and it is attractive in appearance. As well, it is very easy to clean. I have noticed one possible minor issue which may or may not be due to the tray - 3 eggs, in different rows, are stuck in their cup - have worked around it but will have probably have to break them to get them out. Don't know if this is due to the tray's construction or the actual eggs. May post once this is dealt with. I would unreservedly recommend this tray (any size) - the extra storage in the larger sizes is very useful when purchasing more eggs before the previous ones are all used.

Fantastic - just one word. Be mindful of the size, you must have a large fridge with good depth. Very sturdy, great packaging to bring it all the way from the other end of the earth, and looks damn good too.

Ótimo produto, de alta qualidade. Comporta 21 ovos e possui tampa que cumpre a função hermética devido ao design. Ganhei bastante espaço na geladeira, valeu a pena.
