On a whim, Calvin (Ice Cube) sell's his father's Chicago barbershop but soon realizes how much he needs the business. The best one !
After all these years this movie 🍿 is still good. I watch it alot on the holidays. That third one had too many celebrities and it felt like it's was trying too hard to be good. Nothing will touch the first one 💛

Excellent product and service
Excellent product and service. I was extremely pleased with this DVD and would recommend it to anyone who likes quality movies. It was something my fiancé had been sesrcging for but one search at Amazon and I found it and he is excited to be the owner of this movie.

Barbershop (Special Edition)
Cube is so cool and I love his style especially his relationship with Cedric! He's got great skills and on the "The Next Cut" he didn't have to put big names in it for real!!! Great job as usual!!!😃

The movie is hilarious! Rapper/actor Ice Cube is great as Calvin, a disillusioned barber shop owner who wants to do better with his life; he sells the barber shop his late grandfather and late father started in Chicago to a shady loan shark, played brilliantly by actor Keith David. Calvin has a sudden change of heart when he heard his employees saying great things about the barber shop; all the actors in the movie are very good and I loved the ending when Calvin stopped a couple of neighborhood thugs from stealing an ATM from a convenience store! In the end, Mr. Wallace the loan shark as well as JD and Billy are arrested for their respective crimes and Calvin didn't sell the barber shop! Yes! Great ending! REST IN POWER to the following actors: Miss Sonya Eddy (June 17, 1967-December 19, 2022) and Mr. Carl Wright (February 2, 1932-May 19, 2007): 'You both may be gone but you will never, ever be, forgotten.'
