Have been using these air filters for about 5 year on my Blueair 500 system. Solid construction and good airflow (not restricted). Have tried couple other aftermarket filters in the past, but they were very restrictive. Save some money over the Blueair mfg stock.

I have a lung condition that requires I have this kind of filter. Works great and not have to pay the full price of the authentic filters. Highly recommend

It's hard to tell how well these filters work. Hopefully they are filtering close or near to what the original filters did. However, the reason I don't give this filter a higher score... I agree with what others are saying about the reduced air flow. It seems the air is more restricted. I have always ran my Blue Air 580i on medium speed because high speed is too loud. But with these filters, it seems more like the airflow is like having it on low speed when I have it on medium. Of course I can run it on the high speed but then I have to deal with the noise.

We live in an industrial part of East Oakland, the air here isn't great. I have 2 BlueAir 601 units that help tremendously. The Pureburg filters have been great... zero issues, similar construction to OEM and no noticeable difference in performance at a lower price. I keep coming back.

As others have stated, this "filter" does not allow airflow. I took it apart and found there are loose carbon crystals inside a metal honeycomb structure. Under the honeycomb structure is a piece of solid cardboard. This is why there is no airflow. These filters will fit in your purifier but will not circulate air which is the point. The regular Blue Air filters are 89.00 each and 85 with the subscription. I say just get the real ones. I do not work for Blue Air and quite frankly feel they like many on the subscription model gouge the consumer. I wish I could afford their higher-end 150.00 filters but alas it is out of my league. I have two machines so that is too steep for me.

Blue Air threatens that if you use any filters but their own, your warranty will be voided. Blackmail! I noticed somebody else left a review saying the filters plugged more quickly than the Blue Airs. To me, that tells me they're doing a better job. With a resident cigar smoker here, we go through filters relatively quickly. At over $170, I think we let them get totally nasty and inefficient before we ordered more. We were simply blown over when we looked at Amazon and found this set for less than a third of what we'd been paying for 3-4 years. Plus, we had them on the front porch in three days! My husband was certain they were going to be "too good to be true." We were both delighted to prove him wrong. Exactly the same, in look and function.

Seems to work better then the original bluair filters. And it's much cheaper

They block most of the air flow, definitely not buying again.
