Great solid seat for forward facing, super easy to install
I bought this as a third car seat for my very tall three year old. We needed another seat for our third vehicle and air travel since she out-grew the height limit on the other back-up seat we had (Cosco). We had recently moved her other primary car seats to forward facing, so I was looking for something that we could use for a long time for forward facing harnessed and eventually booster mode. I love the very tall height limits and cup holders. It is relatively lightweight. We took it on an airplane ride and it installed nicely and securely on the seat. We also use it in my husband's Chevy Silverado and it fits great. The BEST feature about this seat is the install! The extending and self-tightening straps for the latch connectors are a dream to install!! I wish all car seats offered this feature. I can get a super tight install in about 30 seconds. An excellent value if you only need a forward facing seat The only negative is that the headrest does tend to push my daughters head forward a bit, making it more difficult to sleep in the seat. PS. If you're going to be using this in airports: I bought the lightweight folding Samsonite Luggage rack (Samsonite Luggage Compact Folding Cart) and secured it with the bungee cord that came with the rack, it worked like a dream. I rolled it around the airport and then simply unclipped the bungee and folded up the rack when it was time to board and install the seat. Several parents and employees in the airports and hotels stopped me and asked about the set up.

After checking out literally a dozen car seats, this is the one I got
Saw this as a top rated one by Consumer Reviews for overall quality. Very sturdy and has a relatively thin profile (so you can actually have other stuff on your seats). Pros: - Latch system is AWESOME. Installs and removes in seconds once you are used to it. - Seat has good cushion all around. I looked at several models from several brands and as far as padding, I think this is one of the better ones for the price. - Pro for me (may be a Con for some), but I like that the chest latch is not impossible to open. It's an easy pinch and open. Cons: - Using the 5-point harness, the bottom straps are kind of tight around the butt area. I'm not sure why they designed it like that. Again--this is something very hard to tell from the pictures online. The bottom straps DO NOT extend out to the edge of the seat. There is a gap of maybe 2-3 inches from each side. My kid is like 10% on the growth chart at age 4 and he felt tight with the 5-point harness. We are using the regular seat belt instead, which is fine, but i would have preferred the harness.

Excellent car seat with great features!
This car seat has everything I was looking for! It is stylish, easy to clean and features an adjustable height back with multiple settings for the shoulder harness and the buckle between the legs has two available positions. As long as the 5-point harness is in place it is FAA approved... it is very light weight and streamline for plane seats. The latch clips are awesome and I am beyond impressed how easy this seat is to install in seconds (and uninstall.) We primarily have this seat in our Jeep Grand Cherokee which the car seat sits perfectly in; there is no tipping or gaps. The two cup holders we have put to use between toys and Sippy cups... they are not very deep which is not a bad thing you just wouldn't want to put a to go cup in them. On a side note: I purchased this car seat while on vacation when we decided to get a rental car and did not have a seat with us. We took it on the flight home and it fit perfectly in the plane seat (Frontier). Amazon offered free same day delivery and we could not be more impressed with the packaging and timeliness in which we received our item.

Good Bang for the buck, easy as pie to install, may not fit your kid or car the best
The baby was moving out of the bucket so she got her sister's Britax Boulevard 70 at big sis gets a booster. I went on the hunt for a booster with a harness that wasn't going to break the bank but was safe. As many have mentioned, the LATCH system on this seat makes installing a piece of cake. Adjusting the straps and harness are very simple as well. This is a no-frills, simple but fairly nice seat. You can tell it is built cheaper than a Britax or Recaro, but the cover materials are nice and its half the price. Its light and easy to install, we bought two so we wouldn't need to swap one all the time, but as easy as it is to install, it wouldn't be bad at all. It fits in our GMC Acadia, although parts of the bottom look like they will dig in to the middle of the leather seat and it sits a little more upright. In our sedan, a VW Passat, it mostly fits but the front corners of the booster dig in to the cars seat at the edge. I might have to get a seat protector for it. The cup holders are closer than some of the other seats, which made my daughter happy. They aren't very big but they fit some sippy cups and a smaller snack cup. They have a little elastic strip inside so a taller sippy won't fall out. I was worried about the light color on the edge of the seat but its a synthetic leather-type material that will clean easily with a wipe. Overall, its a good price for a decent seat. **EDIT** After trying these out for a few weeks, we've decided to try something else. Our main reason for returning them is how my daughter fits in the seat. It adjusts up and down fine but the back of the headrest is several inches thicker than the back of the seat. It pushes her head forward some, and though she isn't complaining she looks uncomfortable in the seat. She falls asleep at times and her head falls forward now. The way they fit in our cars, they don't recline and make the problem worse. Its especially an issue in the Passat as it has more of a bucket seat and the car seat doesn't fit well. Initially I thought it was just the front corners digging in to the seat but after some use I can tell its just not working as designed. The chest buckle is very easy to overlook, it doesn't have a positive "click" to it so you have to be sure to give it a tug after buckling it and if you have a toddler that can normally buckle themselves in, I would be sure to check them as I found a few times things not buckled. We bought the Recaro RECARO Performance SPORT Combination Harness to Booster, Rose which is $50 more and it has far more adjustment for the vehicle, does not have the raised portion to the back of the headrest and the construction is lightyears better. I'm not sure how much of it is necessary, but I can tell its bread from a company that makes racing seats. It fits both cars better as it is more adjustable and has a plate on the bottom to fit the seat or recline it some. It weighs much more but we're not going to be swapping the seat so it doesn't matter. We took it on a road trip this weekend and she slept well with no foward-falling head. We'll be buying a second one for the other car. Overall, the Evenflo isn't a bad seat if it fits your kid and car, it just wasn't the best for us. It is a good value despite being built cheaper and the latch system makes installing a dream.

Love this car seat. Comfortable, good looking and adjustable. The easiest car seat to install that I've ever seen. If this has the features you're looking for, and it probably does, buy it. Hands down one of the nicest car seats on the market, and at a great price.
