I tried this product while visiting family in the East Coast. I was impressed by its taste and quality after cooking it. So I decided to buy more while back at home and use them as part of my vegetarian diet.

Started buying these because I live alone and got addicted to dense bean salads, but opening 2-3or4 cans to get a good variety ends up being wasted. Even if I add another different van of beans with these, it's still a workable amount. Good flavor and quality. Got plenty in my pantry!

These kidney beans are a great addition to chili, salads, and rice dishes. The beans hold their shape well during cooking and have a nice, hearty texture. I like that they taste fresh and don’t turn mushy like some other brands. They’re convenient to use straight from the can after rinsing. On the downside, the liquid they come in is a bit salty, so rinsing is definitely necessary. I also found a few broken beans in the can. This actually is a great combo. It can be used in chili, or as what I did was mixed (rinsed) these with mozzarella cheese cubes, sliced olives and some protein (such as shredded chicken), added some salad dressing. For me it was delicious. Definitely going to continue to purchase.
