Secondary lock mechanism
Excellent carry and user knife. Has a secondary safety switch which really sets it apart from every other folder. You can use it like a fixed blade with no worries.

Great Value
Great utility knife for the price and very sharp blade

A very solid knife
This is actually an *excellent* knife for the money. About the only con I can think of are the screws that hold the handle (actually the entire knife) together are "star-faced" and extremely difficult to tighten (I've never found a screwdriver with a head to match) when they come loose. And they do loosen eventually. Other than that small drawback, great knife!

My husband loves this knife. It is a replacement for the original one he got as a gift years ago.The locking part broke off so it wasn't made as well as the first.

A sub par budget knife not worth the price asked.
An ok knife ... I say just ok because the 2nd day I had it the blade chipped and a screw fell out... The following week the blade lock broke the metal ring that holds the thumb piece for it broke when unlocking the blade and then the blade tension screw fell out ..... All in all it's a cheap knife ... Home Depot sells these on sale/clearance regularly in the bargain bin area at the front of the store.... I think I paid 4 or 5 dollars for the one I have on clearance.... I'd buy it again if I left my good knife at home and needed a knife for work for the day and was already at Home Depot, but I would not spend more than 5 dollars on it especially if I have to wait on shipping... As far as a knife I carry semi regularly I'd pass this one up buy a better knife made with better materials that had more of a focus on quality.... You are better off spending 6 dollars on a gas station knife where at least you know it is going to break within a few days.... let's face it Coast Is just a sub par budget company even their flashlights are buggy and die rather quickly....I'm giving 2 stars based on quality and the fact that it got me through a day of work... normally i'd give 1 star if a blade chips as easily as this one did.

Reliable "work horse"
I've been carrying this knife around for about four years. I don't even remember where I bought it. As a tool I've used it almost every day. The most common item I cut is paper, then cardboard. These are killers on knife blades. Naturally I've used it occasionally to cut such things as electric cords, rope, cloth, aluminum foil, tin cans, etc. Absolutely no problems. I don't think I've ever sharpened it.
