This works well for our laundry room. It is easy to hang on wall and plenty of room to attach clothes!!

Sheets never smell better than when dried in the sun. The same with towels and clothing. After missing the clothesline from our old home, I purchased this to hang on a corner of my house and we hook the end to a 4" x 4" bird feeding post. The only thing that bugs me (and it's silly) is that you have to loop the line around a knob on the bottom of the case to keep the line from drooping. It's long. It droops. Beyond that, it's a great value for the money, it doesn't stand out against the wall of my home and its easy to use. I've loved being able to hang fresh laundry from the line in these drier, warmer weeks and it's saving me more than a little money since I don't have to turn on my electric clothes dryer.

This was the least expensive 40-foot retractable clothesline I could find. The others seemed the same and offered no reason to pay twice as much. I wouldn't be surprised if one or two suppliers make them all. This was to replace a U.S. made clothesline close to 20 years old. The sun had destroyed its plastic, but it performed well before it disintegrated. This particular item is its poor cousin, with a thinner vinyl line that stretches a bit. Believe the advice from other reviewers: the mounting screw heads will strip if you look at them wrong. Use your own. If you're mounting into wood a smaller screw will do. You'll need to wrap the cord around the bottom cleat twice to secure it, otherwise it will slip and your line will sag. Don't make the same mistake others did - the cleat must be used. I think you will be able to make this work for light to medium loads, and the price is right, but if you've used a better one as I have, this can only rate three stars.

You can take this gadget anywhere you want. Hang it on a tree and dry your clothes in open air. The trick for the line to hold the clothes up, is to put hooks along the way. You can’t expect the line to hold straight. You must aid the line to keep from sagging. Pls understand this is not a retractable stick!!! So take the line for 10 feet and hook the line into a hook. Then continue across like 9 or 10 feet and hook again to another hook on a wall or column. And so on in a cross cross pattern design. it is so convenient. When dry, pick up the clothes and once you have finish taking off the clothes from the line, then unhook the last part of the line and go to the next and so on. It is a great value for the money!!! There is nothing like drying your clothes under the open air or the sun!!

The clothesline is so slippery that it will not stay locked in the mechanism. It stretches fine, you wrap it around the stay mechanism and the minute you put any weight on it, the entire roll just rolls out and the item drops to the ground. Very poor choice of line material.

Very good quality . My 2 nd one zI ordered. Can go in all directions. I fitted hooks all over my back yard. No my washing can follow the sun. When it is raining it stayed on the back undercover verandah.

حطيت عليه بس ٤ قطع ملابس اطفال ونزل بشكل ملحوظ واضح انه مايتحمل او ممكن يتحمل ماينقطع لكن كل ماحطيتي عليه شي اثقل كل مانزل للأرض اكثر
