Redken Color Extend Shampoo For Color-Treated Hair - Protects Colors, and Cleanses Hair Leaving It Manageable and Shiny

I have used this product for years and I love it. I will say I have tried others on occasion but this shampoo has always been my favorite and my staple. I like the quality of this shampoo and delicate fragrance and what it does for my hair. My favorite color for my hair was always red -red - red and now I get copper streaks in my hair. Unfortunately red colors oxidize faster than other colors and for me this color extend shampoo helps keep my color brighter longer. I frankly quit trying other shampoos long ago because they just didn't seem to work as well for me. I also like buying the liter (get a pump too!) because it lasts me about a year and I don't spend as much on smaller bottles that cost more and don't seem to last as long. Its a good buy for.

Redken is the standard in women’s shampoo. I have wasted a lot of money trying out drug store shampoos that claim that they’ll do what this shampoo ACTUALLY does but they end up leaving my hair feeling dry, brittle, and with hair loss! This shampoo leaves my hair feeling sooo soft and healthy. I spend enough money coloring my hair—I decided I will also invest in a good shampoo to make my color last longer and actually nourish my hair. I am also able to last longer between washes because this doesn’t make my hair super oily the next day. If you can afford it, switch and don’t look back!

This is a good shampoo. Large bottle size. Good smell, great response from dyed hair, etc. The question is if you can get it at an affordable price. As things are prone to do, especially as of late, the price has gone up and up. If you can get it at a reasonable price (for you,) I'd recommend it. If not, I'd recommend looking for something sulfate free and/or paraben free. Recently I've had really great results with Herbal Essences Bio:Renew Honey & Vitamin B Sulfate-Free Moisture Shampoo.

Great shampoo for red colored treated hair. Def helped my red last longer, which can usually wash out pretty quickly. Love the scent.

Excellent shampoo, leaves hair soft, shiny and full. Not greasy. Or flat will continue to use a little higher priced than I would like. But well worth the price and a little goes a long way

If you're going to spend the money to have highlights then spend a little extra to make sure the highlights don't fade. This is a great value. Buy on Amazon is a lot cheaper then in store or at the salon.

I have been using this shampoo for years. It's not harsh and doesn't irritate my scalp. It smells nice and it's not a strong smell. I wait to buy it when it goes on sale.
