Fantastic compact little dehumidifier
This is a really nice dehumidifier. I actually bought it to replace a faulty tumble dryer in the garage! So, I now put the washing on a heated frame in a spare room, and put this dehumidifier on. Within hours, the water bin is full, say, by the time I go to bed. Empty it, it restarts automatically, empty again in the morning and the washing is perfectly dry. In fairness, it is acceptably dry, without the heated clothes frame in several hours. You can hear it operate, and it would probably bother you if you were trying to read or watch the TV in the room, but to dry laundry, in a separate room it is fantastic. To remove dampness from say a basement or any more than one level of a big house, I’d go for something a bit bigger. I have the 22 litre model Lidl supplies for a humid property I own, abroad. The Delonghi is certainly an attractive, light, unobtrusive, compact, extremely effective, reliable, not excessively loud, very easy to use model, that within its size range, I’d recommend to anyone. In a bigger house, maybe have one upstairs and one down. There is a hose pipe attachment, so you can place it on a sink, and leave it running in automatic mode, without needing to be emptied. No negative points, as obviously it needs to make some sound in operating, but it is so attractive, light, easy to use and effective, that for its size range, you really don’t need to look any further. Can’t fault it.

Very effective
Bought this to tackle the damp in an old Victorian house. Boy, has it done its job. It's very straightforward to use, with practically self-explanatory controls, and is quite small and discreet for what it is. It's reasonably quiet - none of us can hear it through a closed door at all, and none of us have struggled to sleep with it running with the door open. We started it off in the downstairs for the first couple of days, then moved it up to the landing, leaving the bedroom doors etc open. On it's highest (40%) setting, it filled the tank within a few hours. We (intentionally) left it to run constantly to start with, emptying the tank when needed - which is very easy to do - and calculated that it removed something like 30 litres of water over a few days. What was very noticeable almost immediately was the lack of condensation on the windows in the morning, and within a couple of days, the whole house felt (and according to our thermometer, was) about 5 degrees warmer, and much more comfortable to be in, without us putting the heating on at all. A couple of weeks in, the extraction slowed down a lot, and we now have it idling on the 50% setting. It turns itself on and off as needed at that point. Our boiler is now set at about half of what it previously needed to be. It does use Electricity, particularly when running constantly, but we knew this would be the case and this has been partially offset by the reduction in our gas heating.

Brilliant Dehumidifier, though not the quietist.
So I've had this unit since 2023 and it's still going strong. It hasn't skipped a beat really and is very impressive at pulling moisture out of the air, even in high humidity scenario's. It's stylish, fast and easy to empty, and a decent size. The clothes drying mode (The only one worth using really) is amazing. The only issue is, it is rather loud. It's like have a bass guitar playing a note constantly, which resonates throughout the house. Even placing towels or a foam matt underneath doesn't seem to dampen it. If you're using this upstairs be prepared to hear it in the room below as a constant rumble. As for using it at night, it would be impossible without decent ear plugs. But overall, I think it's great. But if noise is a priority, you might want to look elsewhere.

Does great job
I bought this to replace my 10 year old same brand dehumidifier. it's great, quiet, efficient and easy to empty, not too heavy. I move it upstairs alternately ,good for drying washing, clearing condensation as described and was a great price I saved £80 on retail price !

Quiet and works well.
Very quiet and collects water. Fairly small but heavy. Does not have any casters so best to leave in one position. Has 3 levels plus a laundry level. Easy to use and simple controls. A great deal quite than other dehumidifiers that we use.

really keeps the moisture down, good to use when drying clothes indoors as it has a setting for this runs ok, can be noisy when on the drying setting

Died after one year
Dreadful, died after just over one year of use. Was great when we first got it, quiet and collected lots of water however over the months it became much noisier and then after just over one year it stopped working.
