How do I set the combination lock?

First, remove the plastic lock tabs. Next, slide the button in to unlock the briefcase. Then, hold the button in. While holding the button in, set your desired combination. Release the button to lock in your code. Repeat on the other side.

Solid briefcase, well made and good looking too. Has a lot going for it...like sturdy construction, well designed, and great price point. Got as a replacement for a well worn and tattered metal briefcase. Hoping it would measure up to the old one, this is even better. Haven't abused it yet, so no comment on longevity, but judging by its looks, this should last a long time too.
