TheraPutty - Therapeutic modelling clay - 6 oz - blue (strong)

Very good. Brought for an autistic child to use during difficult moments. The putty breaks and snaps, twists and stretches. A really useful tool to have to hand.

Bought this for my sons OT as recommended to develop his finger strength. Initially it felt and looked hard to me however as soon as my ASD son had it in his hands he was able to model it and play with it very well. It is not as soft as playdough, but he enjoys it MORE than playdough. I am pleasantly surprised and happy with this product, I recommend it to any parent whose child has sensory needs and are going through occupational therapy.

Was advised of it for weakness in my hands and fingers . It is very good work out for me it works . Great product well worth the money . I recommend it to anyone . I had carpul tunnel op on both hands and suffer weakness .but this is helping .

This has helped with my anxiety and slightly keeps my mind off things by stretching, making little balls and rubbing my finger across it as its soft yet slighty greasy. I like the fact it can snap it and that it's not rock solid. I've always liked play dough but found it's too squishy so this is perfect.

This is a great product but should come with a warning. If this product is put down on any fabric based material it literally oozes and us a bloody nightmare to remove! My son put it down in a ball on his carpet, the next morning it had literally flattened itself out, was so hard to get off the carpet and has stained. No matter how many times I tell my son to put it away I’ve now got this all over clothing, carpet and even a cat! Would not buy again due to how hard it is to remove and the stain it leaves. Sorry for unpopular opinion but this is a warning to parents!

I'm using this to rainproof a micro usb c connection on a gopro8. 1. Put small elastic bands around the connection, around the connector and snug against the camera. 2. Break off some of this putty and press it over the elastic bands and onto the camera. Don't leave any gaps. 3. When finished, put the putty back into the container. This'll make it rainproof...NOT waterproof.

Great product

We had used this with an OT before deciding to purchase, so had a good idea what to expect. This is the real stuff. For those who've never used it, Theraputty doesn't stick to things so you can hide small objects in it for the user to find without getting them gunky - and very importantly for some users it won't get your hands messy. Scent free. Blue is much tougher than playdoh or most clays or putties you can buy in a toy store. Great for strengthening hand muscles, which in turn benefits fine motor skills, and may help hypermobile people who get dislocations in their hands (recommend consulting a professional to find best colour/firmness, if possible).

À tout adepte du modélisme cette pâte peut être utiliser pour masquer la peinture lors des opérations à l'aérographe ou à la bombe de peinture. La pâte a une bonne tenue ce qui signifie qu'elle épouse les formes sans coller au support ce qui est génial quand il faut la retirer. J'ai lu dans d'autres avis qu'elle est un peu huileuse ce qui est vrai (dans une moindre mesure) à la livraison. Après l'avoir malaxé pendant quelques minutes l'apparence huileuse disparaît absorbé par la pâte. J'estime que la pâte est réutilisable une bonne quantité de fois et devrait durer longtemps. Je n'ai noté aucun résidus huileux laissé sur la maquette par la pâte mais je suis sûr que ça partirait avec un peu d'alcool isopropylique si résidus il y avait. J'ai utilisé une petite portion pendant plusieurs heures de pulvérisation et la couleur avait à peine changé très légèrement. Une fois mélangé avec le reste de la pâte la couleur d'origine était totalement restauré. En fait la quantité de peinture piégé doit être tellement infime qu'il ne doit pas y en avoir beaucoup dans la pâte au final. En résumé la pâte peut facilement être utilisé pour un usage de masquage malgré un aspect légèrement huileux à la livraison qui disparaît par la suite. Il semble que la pâte soit réutilisable un grand nombre de fois même si je ne l'ai encore utilisé que sur une seule maquette.
