BOSKA Cheese Commander Pro Cheese Wire - 6 Set Cheese cutter wires for Easy Fast Cutting Hard or Semi Hard Blocks - Stainless Steel Kitchen Cooking Tool

I just started buying cheese in bulk to smoke. I have tried otherwise cheese cutters but found this one to be more accurate and easy to use. It is easy to use because of the way that the wire goes through the cheese block and down into where the handle is held, and its ease of cleanup made of a durable plastic. Because of the spring reloaded pulley underneath the board, it cuts more accurately and with much more ease than other cutters. I was able to cut a 42 pound block of mild cheddar into sellable 1 pound segments with this cutter. The slot is 90° to the back of the cutter so it makes it easy to make cuts. blocks and also will accommodate rounds of cheese and cuts very nice pie shape slices. The wire that cuts is sturdy but yet flexible to be able to cut accurately. I have used this cutter on some hard cheeses like extra sharp cheddar and it worked flawlessly.

These replacements wires are the only ones that fit the Boska Commander Pro, so there’s really no choice for when one breaks. Unfortunately, these have gone up in price, but not in quality. They seem to break more quickly than they used to.

.Boska makes top notch, quality products and this cheese slicer does not disappoint. The larger handle took a bit of getting used to but now feels normal.

We usually buy a ⅛ wheel of Parmigiana Reggiano Cheese a couple of times a year to share with family. It is difficulty to portion it without a great deal of crumbling. The Boska Pro works as advertised. We followed the instructions on the you tube video. It was easy to cut through the rind and divide the cheese into one pound pieces. Most people probably wouldn't buy it for home use, but if you go through as much cheese as we do, this is a welcome addition to our kitchen.

They work well but, have a wearout date!

It cut the cheese as long as the hard skin is scored (Parmesano Reggiano). This was my second time cutting a wheel of $1200.00 cheese and it made it much easier. The stainless steel wire is a little out if shape (- one star) but it still does the job. I would of designed it differently but it works.

I love this cheese cutter! I can easily cut FULL SIZED WHEELS of gouda with EASE! I was a little nervous spending the money, but it's worth every penny! It is made and designed well and even comes with cute packaging. To ease your mind, it comes with extra wires in case they break. I've now cut 12 wheels of gouda and this slicer is still going strong! I would definitely recommend for anyone that buys big blocks or wheels of cheese that wants to slice with ease.
