The pockets on the hips are zipped on
Love the amount of pockets the but ones on the hips are very annoying as the zips just loosen with wear. I nearly lost my phone on the first day of use as I hadn’t noticed. They’re comfy and I’m wearing these 40+ hours a week including the 30 min walk to work and they haven’t shown any wear and tear yet so definitely worth the price. Thanks.

Good trousers, zip holster pockets bad idea
Trousers are comfortable, pockets are good, fit is loose which means you have good mobility and ability to use the pockets on the legs without items digging into you. Zip holster pockets are a bad idea, when I reach in to get my tape or knife the zips begin to open and the holster pockets begin to fall off, not a good experience when 7 story’s high on a scaffold. Solved this issue by super glueing the holster pocket zip closed. Happy all the same with the trousers, for the price they are the best I’ve found on Amazon so far, I’ve tried wright fits, apache, jcb and scruffs, so far the Lee cooper are the best. Wright fits and apache are poorly made, tight fit. JCB ripstop material is very light, cold and does rip easily also holster pockets are too small to put your hands into, Scruffs are well made, good material but too tight in the legs and therefore very uncomfortable, combined with Scruffs knee pads I couldn’t bend my leg, also as the leg is so tight the pockets on the legs are redundant because you can’t fit anything in them without it jamming into your legs. After all those experiences I will stick with Lee Cooper and superglue for holster pockets going forward.
