a great all around small task tool
A great little Hatchet. I didn't take it too seriously at first but have since put it to the test in the field doing chopping. Amazingly with the same Force chop, it chopped about as deep as my estwing Hatchet. I have bought three now one for my day pack one for an emergency kit and one for my wife to take in her car. I have also choked up near the top to hold and make feather sticks as well as chop onions, frozen meat, and potatoes. It is lightweight, isn't too awkward to carry when hiking. A decent little Hatchet for chopping small limbs and small trees. All 3 hatchets came Sharp with a hollow type grind on it that is surprisingly holding up very well. I would recommend as it is strong, durable, and inexpensive.

Nice little pocket hatchet.
Never would have thought that somebody would make an EDC hatchet but here it is. Points off for sticking with the crappy snap closed blade cover instead of something more functional.

This is a very small hatchet. I'm female and it's not much bigger than my hand. I thought it was going to be a little bit bigger than what it is. My fault for not paying attention to the dimensions. However all that aside, I'm going to keep it. I could use it to chop up small brush and game animals. It's got a little weight to it too. It seems to be well made and it's sharp. If anyone is expecting a big hatchet this is not it. But if you want something small for your camp bag this might be for you.. I gave it 5 stars because its not the makers fault i didnt pay close attention to the size plus it's well made. I just wish it was a little bigger.

Your EDC knife in hatchet form
It's like your EDC knife in hatchet form. It even feels that way on you hip. I've given it it's first outing recently and it held up to it's job perfectly. I have another camping axe for most jobs, but this little hatchet comes in handy with small jobs. For the price, you can't beat it. Just make sure you have an additional, bigger sized hatchet or axe if you were hoping this one would be good as your primary axe. It's just a little too small for that, but 5-stars easy as a secondary, EDC hatchet.

Appears well made but dull as a butter knife
Impulsively purchased as a gift for my teenage son, I did not look at the details when buying this tiny thing. There isn't enough weight behind this thing to actually cause any damage. Appears well made but dull as a butter knife. Not going to send it back to the seller, my fault for not reading. Arrived sooner than expected and the price was good. If I had read the details I would have passed. My son likes it anyway so no loss. Buyers should read details.

Small Axe. Over all just ok.
VERY SMALL!!! ok I knew this was small when I ordered it expected it and was still a little suprised at it size so just be aware that the size is small. It got 3 stars from me for a couple of reasons. First it didn't come sharp as my other MTech knives. Second the edge is slightly uneven or wobbly however you want to say it. 3 rd and finally it was a bit dirty needs cleaning. Ok positives it is sturdy, it does sharpen up easily, and does cut small branches but it lacks weight due to its size to be a great chopper. I'd be satisfied with this as an add on back up axe on my back pack. Small saves weight. Over all I'd say it's ok for the price.

Smaller then expected
It’s small but with its small design it’s perfect for everyday carrying. Not really good for much practical use but self defense I could see it being useful

Handy EDC tomahawk
It's pretty small. That's what I wanted, and I purposefully sought out a small axe. I wanted it for EDC (every day carry), believe it or not. Yeah, I know, a tomahawk is a pretty weird thing to pack around, but I just thought that'd be awesome. Tomahawk and knife? Come on. You can't beat that for fun. The last of the Tactical Mohicans. It's solid, almost 1/4" thick. I chose it because the head profile doesn't have a huge backspike that would interfere with concealment. The head shape and size are perfect for me. The handle is comfortable and the scales are very cool, but it suffers from being too short. It can do a little chopping, but for real tool/weapon use it needs about another three inches of reach. It's too short to accelerate the head much. I might end up making my own copy out of 2"x1/4" 5160 steel stock, with a slightly longer handle. The sheath is adequate for hiking, but for EDC it needs a kydex rig. The nylon sheath rides too low on the belt and is extremely difficult to free the hawk from. It does retain the weapon well. If you can't draw from it one-handed, it's not tactical enough. The axe throws well, but spins much faster than a normal tomahawk. It also has less striking power and takes a little more speed to stick well.
