Cool graphic on the box. When you get it the box will be full and bulging your gonna wanna shake it upside down to get the bag out. Its vacuum sealed. Once unsealed it dwarves the box. They put it in the bag inside out and thats how you are gonna want to do it after wearing. The main suit is the same mesh as the bag so its good and breathable. The jacket uses plastic buttons so they won't get shiny or stick out and don't add weight. Do not worry about the buttons being plastic they will hold up. Elastic on wrist and pant cuffs. the waste band has Elastic and separate drawstring to keep em on. The rifle wrap has Elastic the full length and ties on the ends. There was 1 loose thread floating around I gave it the test its good and strong stuff so I tied it on. This is a good suit. It probably does weigh about 5+lbs and they tried to make it as lite as possible while providing good coverage and making it highly serviceable. Well thought out product. This was an easy review to do. Will definitely look for Arcturus brand products in future purchases.

Was able to hide 3 times, once standing, without being spotted until 10 meters while being actively searched for, really good suit, strands pick up debri like crazy, good sometimes, bad with sticks and sticker bushes with needles and stuff, I did not use the gun camo yet but it does appear to be very nice Pros: You can flip inside out WITH the debris you picked up and store it mess free in its carry bag Comes in 2 pieces, has a pull tab for the hood on each side and the pants have one too Squishes down to a decent backpack sized bag that has the same camo as the rest of the suit Compatible with helmets and possibly a rig if you really wanted to, could easily fit body armor under Super lightweight, thought itd be heavier, it was so light i barely could tell where my strands were falling to determine how i was concealed Not sweaty at all, thought id be dying in the heat in NJ spring but it was pretty good CONS: The bag has a little carry strap to wear like a backpack, mine broke instantly, no big deal, but unfortunate The arms have huge bald spots for “breathability” but if you wear short sleeves you can see skin through it Does not cover hands or feet, wear green gloves and boots I was wearing a boonie hat with a bug net under the hood, the hood kind of pulled the hat down into my face when prone, a bit hard to see, probably user error and i just needed to readjust, but either way larger hats seem to not work The green they chose does not match most natural foliage, atleast in NJ, it is much less vibrant and dark than NJ grass, our grass here is very bright green, perhaps its for darker at night, but they dont seem to sell any strands that match, which is unfortunate If you walk through water you will have the worst day of your life, thats for sure Thats all, i like the suit, a scent trained dog will find you in 2 seconds, a human will not, didnt test under IR or FLIR but i will and update the review accordingly

So far so good the look and quality was better the expected as far as durability I’ll have to wait and see as I use it only 4 stars because it could use extra yarn in some areas but other then that it looks great and the fit for the size I ordered was perfect

The first thing that caught my attention about Arcturus Ghillie Suits over the rest of the other ghillie suits out there, is the INSANE amount of thread they have on each suit. I thought to myself “Yea that’s cool and all but what good would it be if it were to fall out over time?” Well, that insane amount of thread on each suit are DOUBLE STITCHED into the mesh, unlike a lot of other companies who just do a lousy single stitch which leads to Ghillie pattern baldness. So yea, Arcturus threads are going no where!!! Also the mixed color blend Arcturus uses on their threads really break up the human form when out in the woods. Having total cover is awesome but come summertime, how hot am I going to be while wearing that Suit? The answer is, not hot at all! You’d think just by looking at it, you’re going to be sweating bullets, just the opposite. The Suit itself is made up of this very lite but STRONG camouflage mesh which happens to have elasticity. This lite but strong elastic mesh design lets your body heat escape the suit and at the same time, allows air to get in which will help you maintain a perfect body temperature. Also do to the awesomeness of the suit’s elasticity, you can regulate your temperature by adding or removing clothing underneath. As for the sizing of my Ghillie Suit, I went with the REGULAR. I’m a bit husky, I top out at 5’8” and I weigh around 180lbs. When I first tested out the fit of my Ghillie Suit, I was wearing a T-Shirt with fleece pajama bottoms and I was extremly comfortable. Hopefully that gave you a decent expectation of what to expect..... Perfection. Also remember that the Ghillie Suit can go quite a bit bigger or much more smaller do to it’s elasticity. Lol ELASTICITY! ELASTICITY!! ELASTICITY!!! Lets get into the price. I strongly believe that the price is more than fair. In fact I think that the price is nothing compared to what you’re getting out of your purchase. I’m more than sure that this Ghillie Suit will last me years to come without a hitch due to the amount of love and attention ARCTURUS put into it! Now this topic I’m about to mention might not mean much to most people, but for me it’s the cherry on the sundae, Customer Service... If you have any questions, no matter how many, how stupid, they are there to answer them, promptly and in the most proffesional manner possible. So, THANK YOU ARCTURUS for being top notch all around!!

One evening, while sitting around the woodstove, a multi-generational family of current/former military began a discussion of the Ghillie suit, and many "wished I had one" was said. Tthe younger of us pulled out our phones and began comparing prices on various suits. My wife, being a smart shopper, chose this one on Amazon after much review reading. I, being the DIY'er of the house, chose to just make my own in the cheapest fashion possible, thus a friendly competition of "whose is better" was born. I first bought a camo netting here on Amazon for a whopping $2. Next, went to walmart and cleaned out the Green and Brown Jute @ 1.97 per spool, roughly using 20 spools. Over the next week I cut various lengths of the Jute and tied them in "grass" bundles of 10-20, creating a ghillie "cape", which I thought would be the superior design. I worked all day, spending roughly 10 hours a day for a week to complete my cape. For my trouble, I caught up on TV shows, got two blisters which popped and bled, and a wonderful sense of self-sufficiency and accomplishment. Hers arrived promptly in two days, ready for immediate use. Finally, the day came 2 weeks from our initial Ghillie discussion, whence we stood before the family "All Ghillied Up" to be judged. Hers was judged to be the winner, but only slightly. Feeling sorry for me, she ordered two bundles of Arcturus Ghillie and helped me tie them into clumps across my cape, adding an extra $34 to the grand total, and a much better version of my cape was made. Summary: Having a week to kill to make your own suit or cape can be done, but you will probably end up getting some Ghillie thread bundles from Arcturus anyway, because they are well made/ colored for environmental blending better. Bonus+-- Her suit is lighter, and feels a tad more solidly constructed than mine, and her fingers aren't bleeding. Wife and Arcturus: +1

I bought this to deer hunt in an open blind, I am exposed from the shoulders up. It has a heavy burlap smell when I first took it out of the package and thought it might call attention to me by the deer. So I washed it and dried it, just be aware that after washing and drying the camo strings get matted. I invested some time un-matting the strings which takes about an hour but the plus is that none of the effort to de-matt or wash/dry saw any of the strings coming loose, I was impressed by this and showed me that it was well made. Now that I have removed the burlap smell I don't plan on washing it again. I'll keep it in a plastic bag and spray with masking scent when I use it. The first night I used it I had two bucks come within 20 yards of me and did not know that I was there. Prior to using this suit the deer would figure out I'm a human when getting within 20 yards, "Not Now". The suit is not light but not heavy either and it helps cut the wind if you encounter any. Of course the strings can get tangled up on stuff but I'll gladly endure that for the amount of camouflage it gives me. The strings hanging down in front of my face took a little getting used to but is part of the reason the camouflage works so well. Bear in mind that I use this product sitting in a chair so I don't have the issues of debris from the ground getting tangled in the suit. I would definitely recommend to anyone using this for hunting.

This Ghillie suit is made very well. It comes to you in a mesh bag, inside out. You simply turn it, rightside out and put it on. As someone who is about 5'9" and 190 lbs, it fits quite well. The suit probably fits up to about 6'3" - but not much taller. If you are shorter than me, you will be dragging your feet a bit. Effectiveness: I was able to go around the entire neighbordhood during Halloween and just stand there, nobody noticed. Once the Sun sets, extremely effective. I got the more green version and it blends into trees, grass and surrounding shrubbery to the point that even under light, nobody thinks you are a "walking bush." I would rate the build quality a 9 out of 10. The bag is way too small so I would rate it a 5 out of 10. Overall presentation and ease of use? 10 out of 10. Pants are a simple drawstring closure, one size fits 170-220 lbs as I see it. If you are over 250 lbs or under 150 lbs, it will be tough to fit you. Not a single piece of grass fell off all night and although the suit gets very hot, drinking water helps. On a hot day, this could be slightly dangerous without hydration as no heat escapes your body.

Got my ghost ghillie today in dry grass. Spent some time “brushing” it out with my fingers. Tried it on... I think my wife was amused, but commented on how well made it appeared to be. I am very pleased. Light weight, fits well. Wrapping the rifle was no problem. Well worth the money, and got it next day delivery. I am going to enjoy this.... Well done, Arcturus! PS: I bought some matching threads and filled it in, so that it looks much more random and more fully filled. Totally love this. I just used it for Halloween to scare the kiddies. They loved it almost as much as I did. Best ghillie suit available at a reasonable price. It is lightweight and comfortable. Wear it a few times in the woods and you will pick up additional camo as well as a more outdoorsy smell. Add a little buck odor and you are set.
