Basic Replacement Filter Fits all EZ Change Systems

I have been using the Culligan under counter water filter for the past 3 + years and I have been very impressed with the taste of our water. I cannot vouch for microscopic cleanliness of the water, but if taste equals clean then it is great! I have not had any issues with the system or filters leaking. The only possible negative I could have is the installation. It has to line up correctly before you can twist it in. No biggie, it is just a matter of getting into the cabinet so I can line it up correctly. Just make sure you turn off the water going to the valve first! Yes it is possible to make a mess with it. My husband appreciated that I was wearing a white t-shirt when I got sprayed down while replacing the filter. If you are on the fence on an under the counter water filter for your kitchen, I would go with this one again. The ease of replacing filters and the cost of replacements makes this a must buy. Amazon even offers subscription service for ordering. I got mine on every 6 months, that should be about right.

Filter works well at filtering water, and lasts about 5-6 months. No leaks!

A good Value and name brand replacement filter.

This filter is made with simplicity in mind. To install all you have to do is twist left about a half to three quarters of a turn and it release the old filter and all you have to do is place the new filter in position and reverse the prior step. It's as simple as that! Even tho the filter is rated for 3000 gallons the company recommends that you replace it once a year. With it functioning as a ice maker filter for me it is still good when I replace once a year. Because it only takes a few ounces of water for each set of ice cubes made. When I've tested the melted ice cubes with a TDS meter(which measures the parts per million of solids) the meter gave a reading 175 which for me is a good reading considering the ease of installation and quality of the after filtered taste and at a descent price.

I have this filter mounted behind my refrigerator, it takes care of the initial filtering leaving the inside-fridge filter free to handle the rest.

If you found this product (like I did) searching for a DuPont water filter that looks exactly the same minus the brand. It will not work in your system without the help of a Dremel. While the filters and mounts are nearly the same, water goes in, water goes out. They are not interchangeable. There is a lug on the top of the filter and in the permanently mounted housing that prevents you from using different brands. All the parts that seal and lock the filter into place are the same. All you have to do is protect the inlet and outlet from debris and cut the lug off of the top with a Dremel. There’s also an extra, very small, tab on the side that I cut off also that was in the way. Only the inlet and outlet (with O ring seals) and the threaded portion on the top of the canister are important. *disclaimer* Don’t blame me if you mess this up and flood your house. I put this in mine and there are no leaks and works as expected.

Can fit on the BRta system but you're going to have to cut off the plastic rectangle on top with scissors or knife carefully. Make it flat and the peg on the side has to come off also. Much better quality than the cheap aquifrcrat system. Bit more expensive but way better for the money.

Going on my second filter and have another spare ready to go. I live in a 70 year old house with most of the original plumbing, at times cloudy, dirty water comes out of the faucets. This filter removes all discoloration and Chlorine tastes, I know it removes many other forms of bacteria and other contaminates but I don't test for it but other reviewers have. I use the filter daily to refill gallon water jugs, water bottles as well as rinsing my dishes after washing, filter last well over a year. I change the filter when the water flow slows to about half or more of the flow when new. Seeing is believing, the normally clear tubing running into the filter is now a brownish yellow color, the same tubing carrying water out of the filer still looks brand new.

I bought the system through Amazon and easily installed myself. This filter came with it and I have run off approximately 2 liters per day, over the last 6 months or so, for drinking & cooking. I plan to change out the filter in June if the taste starts to degrade. I figure that one can run off 8 gallons per day for a year before change is needed if your tap water is already great quality. Strongly recommend.

Was easy to install and works great so far. I hooked it up to my current cold faucet and needed to get another 1/4" to 3/8"adaptor. Water is clear and tasteless as it should be. I am happy with the product.
