Reliable enough I have forgotten how many car keys have split at the pin and these fix it for a while. Just like new !.

For the price it’s spot on. 5.99 arrived within a day. Replaced my broken key. The only thing of note is the pin to replace the key when removing the old one to put in place of the blank one. It was slightly offset in the hole so I had to use a metal saw to shave a tiny mm off the notch to then fit the pin. Other than that it works perfectly . Replaced the pcb and new battery and it worked.

After having the main key for our car sit broken in a cupboard for a year, I thought it best I tried and get it fixed. £200+ from the main dealer was not an options, so after a quick search I went for the 'Amazon's choice' product.it arrived the next day, (as usual) and when I opened it I was quite pleased with what I'd picked. The quality the case is good, with a similar weight and feel to the original vauxhall key, and it's easy to open up. Unfortunately the original key is not, as it seems to have been made in a way that means it has to be destroyed to get at the circuit board inside. I'd recommend using a small hack saw down the sides to brake the seal, then carefully prize it open with a screwdriver. I managed to snap one of the buttons of the circuit board and had to spend 25 minutes in my workshop looking for my soldering iron to fix it back on, so make sure you take your time. Once it's all out, the only tricky thing left to do is to get the key blade from the original key and swap it for the blank one that comes with the replacement unit. If you press the button to open the key and slowly let the key move around, you'll see a small pin at the base of the blade. Tap this out to release the blade on both keys and swap them over. After this the only thing you'll need to be aware of is that when assembling the new case the spring needs to be lined up correctly both inside the button and in the case, and you'll also need to wind the key part around anti clockwise to make sure there is tension in the spring or it won't flip open when the button is pressed. Overall it took me around an hour to do including the soldering, and the results are very good. It's pretty sturdy, fairly easy to change over and great value for money. *6 MONTH UPDATE* So, 6 months of use and the buttons are in a bad way. There's a lot less resistance when they are pressed and the from is blistering away from the body off the key unit. I've already changed it for a different style that looks a lot more robust that I bought from another selling site as it wasn't available on here.

Terrible product, unable to remove roll pin to swap blade, used correct tools however ended up splitting the blade holder. Poor quality material. Purchased another from a different seller and swapped key blade and circuit board in less than 5 minutes. Don’t buy this product, waste of money

Slightly different to ones I've had before. Got it all put together and is fine. Feels strong and a good clip together. I really l8ke thus one as there's a simple piece to change the battery.

This is a good replacement case. It is best to take the blade from your old case and use the new mechanism as even though they look identical they are not. Also wind a few times on reassembly to make the blade flick out properly. Lots of tutorials available showing the best method. Working great, I added a small screw to clamp the pieces together for extra security.

Very good but you will have to super glue when assembled! Otherwise it will fall apart!

Acheté pour opel astra J année 2015 Après avoir passé plus de 3h à démonter l'ancienne clef collée, mais vraiment collée soudée, impossible d'aligner le bouton poussoir d'ouverture. Mal ajusté avec la clef d'origine. OK, c'est pas cher. Mais impossible à remonter. Ne correspond pas à la partie métallique de la clef d'origine. Seule solution, aller au clef minute pour graver la lame vierge. 20 euros supplémentaires. Pour le ressort, il faut tourner au moins 2 tours pour le mettre en place et que cela fonctionne. Et réussir à emboiter le tout du premier coup. J'ai mis 2 minutes pour faire cette action. Changement de pile. Tout fonctionne. Nickel. Chez OPEL, c'est devis 454 euros pour refaire la clef et la programmation, ils changent TOUT , boite, lame. Vraiment trop cher OPEL.

Ich war zunächst skeptisch, ob man für so wenig Geld ein hochwertiges Ersatz-Schlüsselgehäuse erhalten kann. Doch ich wurde angenehm überrascht! Das Kelay 2-Tasten Schlüsselgehäuse erwies sich als exzellente Wahl. Die Montage war ein Kinderspiel - alles passte gleich beim ersten Anhieb. Es war kein lästiges Feilen oder Anpassen erforderlich. Nach dem Einbau funktioniert mein Schlüssel genauso gut wie zuvor, ohne jegliche Probleme. Die Tasten reagieren einwandfrei und das Gehäuse liegt angenehm in der Hand. Auch nach mehreren Monaten intensiver Nutzung bin ich immer noch vollkommen zufrieden mit diesem Produkt. Es ist nach wie vor voll funktionsfähig und hat keine Anzeichen von Verschleiß gezeigt. Die Qualität hat mich wirklich überzeugt. Aus diesem Grund gebe ich begeisterte 5 Sterne für das Kelay 2-Tasten Schlüsselgehäuse. Es bietet nicht nur ein hervorragendes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, sondern erfüllt auch alle meine Erwartungen an ein Ersatzgehäuse. Ich kann es uneingeschränkt empfehlen.
