I have never vacuum packed anything before so when I bought these I was fairly dubious. Never heard of the brand before, suggested by Amazon, no one I knew had used these but I decided to give it a go (helps when you get a freebie gift voucher so nothing to lose there). Quick and speedy delivery as I would expect from Prime, nicely wrapped etc. When I opened it up there were 5 bags all nicely folded and a hand pump. Again, I'd never done these before so I was quite nervous doing it. I had nothing to worry about. On the bags the instructions were there in very easy and basic English with diagrams as well - very useful if you're someone like me who goes well by BOTH types of instruction. It was very easy to do, you take off the little screw top and slot the pump onto the hole(?) and start pumping. Almost immediately you can tell the air is being sucked out of the bag, and no worries about breaking them because you'll know when all the air's come out. I did have to re-pump one of the bags, but it was my first one and I was worried about OVER pumping it. Again, no worries there, to be expected, pumped it clear again and no problems, have put them away into a Really useful Box and can fit 3 bags in there (including the one with the following item): So far I have used 4 bags and have no spare clothes left to pack away. I even tried packing up a very big and puffy coat with one of my long coats, no worries there either. I did find it didn't shrink the coat that much but it was to be expected considering it's one of those massive boy coats! I haven't tried pillows or duvets yet but I'm sure I'd buy a bigger bag for those. I can't wait to go travelling with these because I can fit so many clothes in these bags, more so than I could fit into two suitcases. I really could have done with these during my university and working abroad years.

Great bags, good quality and the seal actually works these are the best I have found so far having tried many over the years, thick strong bags, good zip seal. I would recommend. They also came via Royal Mail, so no issue with delivery

These ate pretty good evening cept they are totally rigid when the air has been removed so not great for my travels but fab for packing my summer clothes away for autumn.

I have no hesitation in recommending these vacuum bags. I’ve tried just about every other brand including the one with the USB vacuum pump and none measure up to these. I simply used the hand pump supplied (because I was too lazy to get my vacuum cleaner out) and it did an amazing job, very quickly. The suction created by the hand pump is so good. It gives fantastic compression. Now I’ve managed to put all my spare throws, towels, cushions, pillows and winter coats in to my press so easily as they take up much less storage space. Just waiting for the larger bags to arrive and I can put my spare duvets in too. Im about to start on my massive yarn/wool stash. So delighted with my purchase. A little tip …. If like me you have a lot of items to bag, I recommend putting the packed bag on the floor then you can comfortably pump without your arm getting weary otherwise you can give your arm a good workout 😂.

These are a great bag when they work, the problem is around 50% fail, they work at first and then you notice this big bag in your storage, I have even had to cut one open due to it inflating in the cupboard and then not being able to get it out. If they were cheap then it would not be a problem but they are expensive so not a throw away thing. When they do work they are great, save loads of room when storing things and keep them fresh, I find using an electric hoover best to deflate them but the pumps do work just very slow. I have given them a 3 star due to so many failing, but you may be lucky and they all work, I have purchased 3 different sets though so my finding are not just on one purchase

Well colour me impressed - these babies have been keeping my precious vintage band t-shirts protected in council storage for exactly a year and they are exactly as they were when I packed them. Believe there was one failed bag (hence the lost ⭐) but overall worth the purchase - in fact I'm going to keep them vacuumed in their new home until needed. 👌🏻
