White Mountain PBWMIME612 Electric 6 Quart Ice Cream Maker Freezer

Let's face it. Ice cream from the store is so full of sugar and preservatives, it can't be healthy for you. Even the so called low sugar, low fat, healthy alternatives are not the best. So we went online and found healthy keto ice cream recipes and bought this maker from Amazon. Now we make our own. Creamy goodness. A frozen treat that won't knock us out of ketosis! Works like a champ. Easy to clean. Best for use out on the patio.

UPDATE: the company got ahold of me and they were so nice and sent me a new motor. We’ve been enjoying homemade ice cream every time the family gets together!! It worked great for the first 2 times then the 3rd time we used it about 10 minutes into it making icecream sparks went everywhere and the motor went out... Contacted white mountain but have not received any emails back for help.

Makes the best ice cream of any of the ice cream makers I have owned. It's expensive but if you love ice cream it is worth the price

I read a lot of reviews on a number of machines and honestly made the White Mountain purchase just because it is the first freezer I can remember as a kid. It bothered me when someone said don't be fooled, this is made in China (WHAT ISN"T)???? The first batch wasn't as "firm" as I would have liked it to be. I will experiment in the future with cloaking it in and insulating blanket of some sort to see if it get firmer. The motor never quit churning. My old one would stop when the ice cream was done. This motor seems to be geared low enough that it will just keep running. Another experiment as I make future batches. The motor is loud as some of the reviews suggest....but I do mine in the basement or outside in the shop so who cares???? I think I'll be glad I spent the extra on the "name brand".

This was a gift for my dad for Christmas. Time will tell how it holds up because he uses it often in the summertime. Looking forward to it! Item was delivered on time and product is of good quality!

Ordering and receiving the freezer was great. I am not as pleased with the way the motor continuously needs unplugging because the ice gets stuck. Also the ice cream is barely frozen when it is done and must set for a while. I would say not worth the price. would not purchase it again.

If you live in a dry climate, the wooden bucket dries out and leaks, making it almost impossible to freeze ice cream.

Upgraded from the hand crank version! This is perfect. THE BEST ice cream maker on the market. So easy, no additives, fresh, creamy ice cream. Yum!
