Perfect Fit and Money Saved
When one of the brackets holding my curtain rail broke, i thought i would have to replace the whole rail. Then i saw these on Amazon and took a chance that they were the correct brackets. They were perfect and i was able to mend my curtain rail, so i’m very very happy and money saved as well.

They fit but only after a little Struggle!👍🤔
Brackets came quickly and good value, on fitting they were a little smaller than the originals but after a bit of fiddling and perseverance they went onto my old curtain rail, I had to use the screws off the old brackets to tighten the brackets to the rail from underneath as they were a little larger and longer, the screws that came with the new brackets just didn’t reach as I had to open the plastic fitting a little wider in order to get them onto the rail before rehanging the track back up again. That said, mission accomplished and the curtains are back in position again. (The original brackets had gone brittle with age, 26 years old, and they all snapped as I leant against the curtains making the bed!). The new brackets are a softer plastic and I’m not sure how long these will last, and they are very slightly smaller. Excellent delivery from Amazon yet again. Curtain rail is a Swish Solo Glide metal gold coloured one from around 26-28 years ago. 👍🤞

Saved me at least £100
While it’s not an easy service or repair and does require some considerable background knowledge, skill sets and tools this product once fitted, goodly grips the rail like a Rottweiler and fits in place of the previous brackets with a solid sturdiness of mounting. There are lots of variables to know in advance and the support of a technician, builder or handyman is essential. Unless you have a full weekend to learn it all and do it all yourself that is 😉💪🏻

Swish curtain track clips
This fits the old fashioned Swish curtain track that was around in the late 80s/90s Couldn’t find it in shops so it was a great find. Attaches with a screw and is strong. Plenty of clips in a pack so really good value for money.

The only option I could find...but not 100% identical
I purchased these as non-proprietary replacements for a couple of broken brackets on my old 'Swish Sologlyde' curtain track. Indeed they were the only feasible replacements I could find after searching local DIY shops and then online. Unfortunately, although the dimensions are similar, they are not 100% identical to the originals. The 'lips' of the jaws protrude about a millimetre too far forward to align properly with the dovetail ridge at the back of the curtain track. The devil, alas, is in the detail. In desperation, I filed off the offending millimetre by rubbing the bracket jaws across the fine concrete of my front steps. Finally - hey presto! - they fitted (though very tightly). Also - like a number of reviewers here - I had to use the original 'Swish' screws to get the jaws to tighten properly. To be fair, my 'Sologlyde' track is over 30 years old, and I suspect that both the tracks and the brackets have been slightly modified by the manufacturer over that period. So those of you who have more recent versions of 'Sologlyde' may not face these problems at all.
