This mattress topper made a big difference in comfort right away. The thickness feels just right and adds a nice layer of support without being too soft or too firm. It helps relieve pressure and made sleeping much more comfortable overall. I was also happy that there was little to no odor when opening it, which is always a concern with foam products. The cooling feel is noticeable and helps keep it from getting too warm during the night. The cover seems easy to remove and clean, which is a nice bonus for washability. It also feels like it offers some basic protection, and the material seems resistant enough to handle normal use. Overall, it feels high quality, supportive, and comfortable. It is a great upgrade if you want better sleep without replacing your whole mattress.

The most plush mattress topper out there!! I actually discovered this at an Air BnB where I had to ask the owner where it came from and they gave me this information. I ordered one from Amazon and it remains one of the best purchases I've ever made. Period. We've owned it for over 2 years now and it's still as soft as the day we bought it! If you like a firm mattress, this is NOT going to be for you. It's very very soft, and you sink into it for a sleep like you're on a cloud! The cooling cover keeps you comfortable and it's easy to wash and put back on the pad. If you don't want to replace your mattress and want to extend the life of it, this will be your answer. Worth the splurge!!!

Worst night's sleep ever! While visiting relatives a couple of weekends ago we loved their mattress topped. It made their worn out mattress feel great, so I asked what it was. They said it was this same Tempur-pedic topper that I am reviewing today. They bought it a few years ago, and have loved it. So we decided to buy one for ourselves. We read many reviews about fake topper, and too-squishy toppers, etc and thought that the poor quality ones must also be some of the fake/knock-offs being sold and took the dive into buying one that said sold and shipped by Amazon. Sure enough, we got one that looks exactly like the one we slept on at the relatives and everything seemed to be top-notch and authentic Tempur-pedic. Well, last night was our first night attempting to sleep on it. It was BAD. The cooling aspect lasts about 20 seconds, any place with any amount of weight sinks down flat with no support, and lighter areas are now 3" higher than the areas right next to them that are flat. These were the exact claims that others posted in their reviews. UGH. Both my wife and I got up this morning with so many body aches, headaches, and virtually no sleep at all last night. I should have listened to the reviews, but also knew from experience that this at least used to be a good product. Not so much any more. Now I need to figure out how to compress the memory foam and package this back up to return. What a joke for the hundreds of dollars that this costs.

After about two months of progressively worsening shoulder pain, I’d finally had enough and decided to try this topper. I have a firm mattress that’s been great for my back, but as a side sleeper, it was absolutely killing my shoulders. What started as pain in one shoulder turned into both because I kept switching sides trying to get relief. I noticed a difference the very first night. I slept through the night without tossing and turning, woke up refreshed, and my shoulders felt worlds better. I haven’t slept that well since before we moved to this firm mattress! The topper gives just enough pressure relief for side sleeping while still keeping the support of the firm mattress underneath. My back still feels good — maybe the slightest bit less firm than before, but absolutely worth it for the shoulder relief. Yes, there was a smell when I first opened it, but I let it air out for 2–4 hours, then put a mattress cover and sheets on, and I didn’t notice it at all after that. I was able to sleep on it the same night it arrived. It’s expensive. That almost stopped me from buying it, especially knowing returns for something like this is tricky. But it’s still far less than replacing a mattress, and the improvement was immediate. I would absolutely buy it again. If you’re a side sleeper on a firm mattress and dealing with shoulder pain, this is 100% worth considering.

I purchased the 3" medium cooling topper in hopes to extend the life of our (only) 3 year old memory foam mattress which had become too soft and indented. First of all, the topper is definitely a good quality, from the foam to the cover. It quickly decompressed and the cover was easy to zip and put on by myself. It did have an odor but just a faint new upholstery smell that quickly faded. It fit with my regular sheets and no big issues with it moving around, although once on it, it could stand to be a couple inches wider to meet the edge of the mattress. I don't believe it has any cooling properties but it's not overly hot like some toppers can be. It is very plush and cozy initially, but I really needed something firmer. I am a back and side sleeper and this is comfortable on my side but not at all on my back--it's like my butt sinks and I'm sleeping at an incline. Once you are settled in you sink in like a cocoon, so if that sounds good to you, you'll like this topper. It has helped with dispersing the movement from my husband, who thrashes around at night and bothers me, and seems to also be helping with his snoring. So those things alone are helping my sleep quality. Overall, it's not perfect for my needs but it has been an improvement, and since it would be a hassle to return, I will keep it for the foreseeable future.

Much heavier than I expected and larger than a Japanese double bed but comfortable. It took me time to adjust to it -- about a month but eventually I did and I cannot imagine going back to my former solid futon.

Speedy delivery and was surprised after unpacking (as it didn't look that thick) how comfortable it has been. Much cheaper than a new mattress and it is like sleeping on a cloud.
