Can I use this to sealed roof cracks?

As a fabric with proper roofing material - probably yes, but I would recommend use proper roofing membrane with fabric that it comes with. Depending on roofing that you have installed currently.

Is the fabric itself waterproof or you have to apply hydro barrier on it to make it waterproof? I want to just tape it around the water heater.

The fabric itself is not water proof. The liquid is what makes it water proof. Would not recommend putting it around water heater itself. Would work well if putting around a pan for water heater.

can this be used for shower walls? does it need unmodified thinset tp apply to wall?

Beware material appears to be counterfit!

This material is not as represented. You will not receive what is shown in photo. Quality is ok but not of the high standard one would expect from an OEM mfg. Seems thin and fragile. Beware, recommend buying elsewhere.

This product is meant to be used with Blue 92 anti-fracture membrane and when you use them as a system the results are excellent. i also like that its thinner so you don't have issues when you are applying on just some areas of a slab. (see pictures) used on hairline cracks on stem wall slab cured 3 years prior to tile installation. Fl . installation Large Format Tile on very level slab
