Works GREAT for smaller windows
Quick thoughts: Easy to install. Holds up well. Convenient for renters who aren't allowed to screw into walls. Leaves a tiny, unnoticeable hole at the top of the window trim when removed. Minimal damage possible. Way better looking & sturdier than any "Command hook curtain hacks." Detailed review: I used this on a window that's about 40" wide. The wood trim is slightly under half an inch thick. The tap brackets were quick & easy to install with a hammer. I used an upholstery tack (kind of like thumb tack, but longer) in the extra hole along the length of the tap bracket for a little more security. (I'm renting a 100+ year old house where everything is a bit off kilter. This particular window trim isn't as thick as recommended; nor is it perfectly straight or leveled. I felt the tacks might help keep things better secured.) My rod & curtains are maybe 5 lbs combined. The rod is 1 inch thick, solid wood, & non-adjustable. I'd say it fits perfectly into the brackets. There's no resistance when putting it in or removing it, & there's hardly any wiggle space. At first, I tried a much thinner rod that didn't allow me to lock down the adjustable length. It didn't look as nice, and I had problems with the rod shifting whenever I handled my curtains. (Note: There's no tightening bolt on these brackets to hold a loose rod in place. In the past, I've used rubber bands to keep rods from sliding past the brackets. It's not the prettiest look, but it's concealable.) I can open & close my curtains easily, with no concerns of the tap brackets falling off. *UPDATE*: 2 months of daily handling & 3 curtain changes later, the tap brackets are still secure. I'm currently using much heavier & longer curtains to block out the Summer heat. I'd say the tap brackets are holding up roughly 9 lbs total. My curtains may be too wide for my window, but I need the density right now. I have to separate & tie them tightly to the sides when I want to open my window to use a box fan. This requires slight pressure & pull on the tap brackets. Still... no signs of them giving out yet! 😊 I'm satisfied with the product & will be ordering more. *Things to consider before buying* 1.) If you have thick curtains & want to open them as wide as possible, it's not as easy as it would be with a traditional curtain rod. The tap brackets can only be mounted as wide as your window trim. Luckily, my trim extends 5.5 inches out in all directions; so I have some space to work with. This wasn't a noticeable issue for me when I hung more narrow & lightweight curtains. I could actually separate them without tying, & they just hung neatly to the sides. It looks a little sloppy when I try to tie back my thick curtains to expose my window as much as possible. It's not so bad if I tie them loosely, but then they block my window fan quite a bit. (Keep in mind: My curtains are probably too wide for my rod length anyway.) 2.) You may not be able to get maximum effect from black out curtains due to the size of your window trim (i.e., the trim should probably be at least 6" from the top and sides of the window). Also, the tap brackets stick out quite a bit, which would let some light peak in regardless. 3.) The tap brackets stick out far enough that my curtains can overlap my thick blinds without issue. If I didn't have blinds, I would use a tension rod to hang sheer curtains underneath a more opaque set. I don't think the tap brackets offer enough space to be able to layer curtains any other way. (Unless they make double hanging brackets, which would be awesome!) 4.) I no longer think adding the upholstery tacks was necessary. The tap brackets seem sturdy enough for my window size. However, I don't have small children who tug at curtains or cats that like to climb drapes. PHOTOS: I've included photos to show how tightly packed my curtains are right now & how far the tap brackets extend over my blinds. You can also see how my window trim is not straight on one side, yet the tap bracket has held up just fine. (The part that nails into the trim is on a leveled surface, just before the divet.) You can also see where I added the upholstery tack. (The holes in the wall near the tap bracket were pre-existing & had nothing to do with this product.)

Easy, sturdy and cheap, IMHO
BEST INVENTION EVER! I am the worst when it comes to hanging curtains and I typically don't hang any, the way I like it. Decided I'd like room darkening curtains in both bedrooms. I had both hung in less than 15 mins. BRILLIANT Invention! Easy & cheap, what more could you ask for.

Curtain Rods You Can Hang-No Experience Needed!
Absolutely love these bad boys and wonder why it took somebody so long to come up with these! They're like that book series, "Curtain Rods for Dummies." So easy even this ole bird could use them and I didn't have to ask for help! Hope they catch on so they'll offer more colors soon. Love mine!

These are awesome for hanging curtains!!
I can't believe how easy these made hanging our new curtains! Each one easily tapped into the door frame. It literally took me about 30 seconds. So happy with this purchase!

Simple & easy
Works really well but one of them is slightly wonky. Definitely renter friendly. Make sure your molding is thick enough!! Super easy to tap in place and feels pretty sturdy.

Spend the money! You won't be sorry
Sooooo easy to use and they look great. I was weary spending so much money on them, but they save so much time and effort that they are worth it.

Read before you buy - Broke my frame & CAN cause harm
Never ever buy these! I am so angry with this shotty seller. I now need to repair a frame(the photo is after i tried to repatch the wood with gorilla glue to at least temporarily repaint the frame until it's replaced, still very visible chunk that took the entire corner off!), fill the chunks in my wall & repaint! I installed these less than a year ago & the brackets never actually stayed completely in place. They were installed straight, with the backs flush to the wall & firmly pressed into the siding & top of the board of the frame. First thing I noticed immediately, was that once the rod was on, the bracket turned a small degree from the wall. Meaning, even though the backs were initially placed flush with the wall/side of the frame as directed so they "couldn't move", they did so right away without the curtains even being on. & the rod is NOT a heavy material by any means. Thinking the degree of shift was so small that it was negligible, I decided to set the curtains anyway. They held well at first & seemed totally fine up until today when the rod literally came crashing down, broke my moulding, took two chunks from my wall & put two big scrapes in the paint in another area of the wall in the process. My frame IS a sturdy wood frame as well & the curtains are not very weighty either. Well under the weight limit they "claim" it will hold. Biggest problem from the jump is this teeny tiny nail they cheaply use to secure these hooks. They only go just deep enough to attach to the TOP frame piece only & even then they're barely in becaue they are sooo short. Which means that ALL OF ANY WEIGHT THAT YOU USE is putting the entirety of the stress on the very TOP of that one board. The fact that the nail doesn't go deeply enough to at least secure itself into the top of the side frame as well to distribute the weight deeper down as well as the fact that they are just barely in the tippy top of the top frame, instantly creates a massively weak design, no matter what kind of frame/weight you use. The small size of the nail is also why there was that small immediate shift in the bracket against the wall. It's literally too tiny for their own product to work. So: - This WILL break your frame, it WILL cause damage WHEN it falls apart & it CAN cause fairly serious injury to any animals or children that happen to be beneath it when it does if you do happen to be using heavier materials. Falsely advertised, causes alot of damages & also potentially dangerous, even if it does initially seem to be holding well at first & you've perfectly installed it to a T. BUYER BEWARE, DO NOT DO THIS!
