Steelex Polyurethane casters work great on concrete for heavy loads in any weather.
I've use a lot of the Steelex brand casters over the years and they hold up well on concrete floors. Even under heavy loads I have not had one get a flat spot or crack. The locks hold solidly and unlock quite easily. There have been times I tried the typical black caster from a local store if I was in a rush to get a project done. It's always been a mistake. I'm in a climate that gets very cold in the winter and these casters can take it.

Awesome wheels for my ottoman!
I really wanted an ottoman with wheels to move around my closet. I like having a small seat, but didn't want to lift it up to move it every time I needed it in a different spot. I bought this one here on amazon because it was the only large, round one I could find and afford. And it had legs. I figured that the legs just screwed on the bottom, so there had to be SOME wood inside there and that I could use these casters! The red color was very cool!! I just placed them right adjacent to the prethreaded holes where the included legs should have gone. That way, I knew that the distance between each (I needed 4) was already measured equidistantly from each other (then I wouldn't have to measure or put them on in the wrong spots.) I did drill before screwing so I wouldn't split the wood. The casters didn't come with screws, but most people have some screws lying around (but wanted to mention it just in case.) I used one inch drywall screws actually, because my use didn't require especially long or thick ones.It works wonderfully!! I can slide my ottoman to exactly where I need it (on carpet no less). It is a little harder to move when I am sitting on it and want to scoot...but still easy. I try not to do that, though so I don't mess up my carpet. I liked the 3-inch ones because they added enough height to the item (just like the legs would have) to make a comfortable seat. Plus I can fit my foot under there to push it around! I did put some pictures of it above.I actually had another square ottoman I added casters to about a year ago. My kids like to have friends over to play video games sometimes and it is nice to be able to move a little seat close to the tv for a guest. I mistakenly used cheap plastic casters last time...they broke (when someone leans their weight too hard on one corner, the plastic cracked.) These are metal, so I am going to buy 4 more for that ottoman, too!

Casters...
These casters are working fine on my large work table which needs to be moved frequently, including over carpet. Unfortunately, the rollers aren't as flat as they appear in the photo and the rather sharp shape causes indentations when moved on the linoleum floor. I'll eventually be changing the floors in this room to a wood look surface and will have to take into consideration the potential for indentations made by the casters.

Good wheels for garage projects
I purchased these wheels for a mobile base in my garage. These wheels are smooth and run silent. This size is big enough that they do not get cought up on ever single piece of wood dust. The double lock on the matching locking casters, when engaged, lock both the wheel and the swivel in place.

light duty
metal bends if impacted on a curb. Could be heavier duty. good for light jobs, not for restaurant if cart gets banged around.

Great casters for the price
I've used these casters in several projects in my woodworking shop now. The first set I utilized was for an assembly table that was constructed out of 3/4" plywood and the base cabinet is four foot square with top having a six inch overhang on all sides. With weight of the cabinet and the tools that reside within it, the unit is really heavy. I installed the casters five years ago and they have performed flawlessly. Polyurethane casters are great because they do not flat spot when left stationary for long periods of time. The set I just ordered is going to be used for a base under a 60 gallon upright air compressor.I highly recommend the Steelex casters.

Very good but not perfect.
Very beefy construction and quiet solid rolling. Obviously capable of bearing their rated weight. But when locked, they do wiggle a bit. Not rock solid. And the polyurethane will slide on a smooth floor when locked, not much grip.

Just OK. Scary small and light duty.
These are smaller and lighter duty than I expected. Cannot understand the 150 pound rating as it has no bearing. Bushing only.

Good - expensive, but solid, and good.
These are great. I built a coffee table and put these on it. We have hardwood floors and it makes it easy to wheel it out of the way when I sweep. Just a bit expensive, that's all.
