Quality boots....
The first thing I noticed was that they felt very slightly larger than other pairs of Merrell boots/shoes I have but not enough to be an issue. Have had them a few months and find them getting more comfortable with each wear, not that they were ever uncomfortable. I have found only Merrells to be genuinely waterproof: have tried two pairs of Timberlands and a pair of Rockports and have all leaked to varying degrees at the welts despite carefully waterproofing them. None of my three pairs of Merrells have ever leaked so I only wear the other makes when I know it's not likely to rain.

Brilliant shoes to use with orthotics
Brilliant mid shoe. I am on my third pair and bought some more for future use. I had acute tendonitis in my Achilles making it painful to walk. These were by far the best supportive shoe to wear. Added a pair of gel insoles and i was more comfortable walking again.

good boot if slightly on large size for Merrell
yes as had several pairs of Merrell shoes did find i had to fit an extra insole as right foot was slightly to large luckily i had from a previous pair good insole in the uk size 10 they feel comfortable straight from the box

Great quality
Impressed with the build quality. No excess glue or wonky stitches anywhere. Fit is true to the size. Slightly wide forefoot makes it comfortable on long walks.

I’m writing this review about Merrell Men’s Chukka boots, because, they’ve discontinued them. Why have they done this? I don’t know. They seem to sell out when they manufacture them. Please bring them back, Merrell!

These shoes are very nice. No toe scrunching with good arch support & very light. I wear them to the office, we're not totally formal. I am not using Dr. Scholl's in them, but maybe later or not.

purchased my size. at first it felt great 2-3 weeks later they stretch ? . so now i had to put a insole and thick socks for them to fit and the shoes still they stretched . a waste
