The adhesive is a joke. These 'protectors' have about the same stickiness as a Post-It note. Scotch tape is significantly more adhesive than these label protectors.

I use the label protectors for my shoe boxes.

I've ordered these labels several times. They work great for my BookCrossing hobby - I put them over stickers on the front covers and on book spines. It keeps the stickers from popping off or being picked off.
