Callaway C10400 15th Club Golf Ball Retriever

We got this for my brother in law for Christmas one year and it was perfect. I used it more than anyone though because I collected about 30 golf balls when my husband and him were playing golf. It works amazing. Fits in the bag with the golf clubs and folds to help with storage. Very sturdy and stable. Easy use to reach for balls out of reach. It was worth the money! I want one for myself lol!

Works great and so glad I got the longer one, haven’t bought a ball since I got it so it’s definitely paid for itself.

I bought a plastic, basket type retriever and I liked it, but the plastic rod broke. A few weeks ago, I bought a $15ish metal one and it broke after the 5th use. It was awful. I decided to invest more and get this one. It is amazing. Sturdy and incredibly fast to get balls. I had 6 balls from under bushes before my 2nd shot on the 1st hole - it is simply that easy and fast to use. The only down side is that it is bigger and takes a space in my club slots in my bag, but it is well worth it. I ordered another one for my spouse on the 5th hole. It is that good. Don't waste your money on cheaper ones, this is an amazing ball retriever.

Great for retrieving this golf balls from far away

My buddy and I find about 10,000 golf balls per year, not counting our own! I walk the treeline and the waterline as I play, so my ball retriever is the most used club in my bag. I have used a variety of ball retrievers - the orange ring, the medal cup, the wire basket. None were a perfect solution, and all ended up broken or damaged in some way. I was looking for a replacement model, and was a bit wary of those with a plastic ring or the spring-loaded types, as I am retrieving balls in a variety of conditions - in water, in mud, wedged between rocks, in underbrush, etc. I opted to try the Callaway model as the mechanism seemed to be fairly simple and, potentially, very durable. I have only used the retriever for about a month now, so I cannot speak to its durability, but I can say that I am exceptionally pleased with its functionality - pleased enough to write a review, which I typically never do. The mechanism is sort of ingenious - place the ring over the ball, press down slightly, and the horizontal bar will drop under the ball, securing the ball in place. You will feel and hear a slight "click". Simply lift up and then turn the retriever over to drop the ball into a bag or onto the ground. The thick metal ring on the end is great for nudging balls out of mud. When getting a ball out of a muddy lie, I often will wash it off by moving the retriever back and forth through the water. When I did this with a cup-type retriever, the ball often escaped and I had to recapture it. That is not a problem with this model. There may be other better models out there, but if you are looking for one to retrieve balls in a variety of conditions, I highly recommend the Callaway.

Have owned this for 5 years. Have not had any issues. Pricey, but it will pay for itself over time plus some! I have retrieved many of balls in many different conditions with no issues.

This ball retriever should last a lifetime. High quality and very very easy to use. You will be amazed at the ease of use. Have had about 6 different ball retrievers and this one is by far the best one ever.

Firstly, this retriever is longer than expected. It is as long as a Golf Driver. Nevertheless it still fits into the golf bag. Secondly, it is rather heavy. If it is extended, you may require both hands to hold onto it for any ball retrieval. Nevertheless, it is sturdy. It is a bit over-the-top in size (length) and weight just for a ball retriever. Other ball retrievers I've seen and experienced with, are much shorter and lighter and thus easier to handle. Honestly did not realise its dimension and weight until I received it in a long box. Thought I bought a driver by mistake.
