Bought for use with a Macbook Pro with no HDMI ports. Worked like a charm and feels premium. Very small so can fit in any bag. Plug and play. Ended up getting an Anker USB C dongle a few months later but this worked for what I needed it for.

I purchased this adapter to connect my old S9 phone to TV or monitor when using a cycling app. Am in the process of returning a dedicated USB C to HDMI cable that I purchased from Amazon - dreadful drop outs and poor quality. This adapter has proven rock solid - still Day 1 but what a relief to not have to faff around wondering 'is it me?'. Good picture and audio to TV via an old HDMI cable. Monitor has no built in audio, but Bluetooth headphones sorts that. I have always found Anker products reliable - should have bought this straight away!

I bought this to watch movies from my phone on my tv but my phone is not good to do that. I had a big argue with my a55 about his ability to fo that but wr did not reach an agreement so i demoted him to faceboock rmail tool.

My 2019 iMacPro doesn't have an HDMI connection, and if I connect an external monitor over USB-C, Netflix and Citrix don't work - they think someone is recording the screen. But this dongle works just great! All the other dongles I tried gave the same HDCP issues.

Ran a 4K Res image into a non compatible Samsung Smart TV to play the England / Ukraine game at the euros outside. It worked an absolute treat and picture quality was far better than I expected, certainly as good as you could expect from the TV display itself, and seemingly as good as the 15” Mac Book Pro 2017 I was running it off. Extremely good value for money compared to others available, good aesthetics and ergonomically pleasing. Good build and material quality, looks and feels durable. Very very impressed. Would highly recommend! 👍🏽
