Generic Battery Pack Cover for Xbox 360 Controller

Only had it for a day but it fit and didn't cut off my controller like my old original MS battery pack. Cut it on and off while playing for 5-6hrs without issue, pack didn't fall out and isn't too big that I fear it cracking the controller battery holder. Its cheap but (so far) it does work which is great,Still due to the other reviews I do think its luck of draw with these even with mine being sold by Amazon. So I will update in a month of how well its still working.

First off, I can't speak to reviews that are from 2012 or earlier, as manufacturers update their product lines from time to time. I purchased two of these for my grandchildren's Xbox 360 controllers.This is a five star product.Pros:1. They are exact replacements.2. They work exactly like the OEM part. (OEM = Original Equipment Manufacturer)3. There is no issues installing batteries in them.4. The build quality is exactly the same as the OEM part.Con's:None.Having said the above, I highly recommend this replacement battery pack. I expect that it will last at least as long as the OEM part. I will buy again.

it is good and everything, like the batteries will fit except for rechargeable ones. for some reason i cant get them to fit in either battery pack and i bought 2. still isnt a bad purchase if your using standard AA like duracell. i just gave it 3 stars because my batteries couldnt fit, but this product does work and is just like the original.

We recently bought a Xbox 360 secondhand. One of the controllers would not work with the battery back cover it had due to battery corrosion. I searched online on ways to clean the corrosion out and got most of it clean. Unfortunately there was one contact that I just couldn't get clean enough to make the controller work. I knew it wasn't the controller itself because based on a YouTube tip of how to put batteries in without a cover, the controller worked fine. Minus that it kept disconnecting during for my son due to the batteries getting slightly jostled while he was holding it, even with it taped up. I checked Amazon for battery cover replacements and voila! It was cheap enough to give it a try. It came within 2 days (thanks Prime!). I inserted the batteries and snapped it onto the controller and we were in action! It works as it should. It fits our controller perfectly. My 3rd child can play with his siblings without getting upset that his controller doesn't work. Saved me the cost of buying another controller.

This battery back only lasted a few days before a part of it snapped off. After that, it was separted into two halves that could only be held together by taping it to the controller with the batteries in it. As you can imagine, the constant need for tape is more than just a minor inconvience. Not only that, but this also leaves it loose enough for the controller to constantly lose power and disconnect in the middle of a gaming session. I've often lost my temper and beat my controller because of this, and as a result my right thumbstick has started to break. DO NOT waste your money on the less expensive choice; spend a little more to get a product with good quality. Its worth it, because it will last longer and you will actually save time and money by not getting this 'ready to break' product and skipping ahead to the more durable, higher quality choices.

We bought an Xbox 360 from a yard sale and when we set it up noticed the back part of the controller that holds the batteries in was missing. I ordered this replacement and it works great. Very affordable for if you break or lose your back from your controllers. I would purchase again.

... however they seem brittle. After learning that my sons had lost the battery packs for some of their x-box controllers we purchased and replaced three of them. One was broken within the hour after my son dropped the controller from sitting height onto the hardwood floor. I don't ever recall the originals breaking so easily.On the other they were inexpensive, ship free with prime and they work properly, so all in all pretty good value.

I recently dropped my Xbox 360 controller for probably the 100th time, and this time the corner of the battery pack broke off, making it to where it wouldn't snap on. We had to hold the battery pack in place any time we used the controller, which was of course very annoying. I finally order this replacement and it works great! Snapped on with no problems, just like the original pack that came with the controller. 100% recommend to anyone who needs a replacement.
