Buy Comfort Cool Wrist and Thumb CMC Restriction Splint - Breathable Neoprene Wrist and Thumb Brace for Arthritis, Tendinitis, and More - Black, Right Hand, Small (6 to 7 inches) on desertcart.com ✓ FREE SHIPPING on qualified orders Review: Love all splints. cool cmc supports! - I have the push, velpeau, ace, Mueller, and so many off brands it's not funny. This one i prefer on my right hand. My cmc joint pops out and is severely painful and will be removed in a month. This is the only splint that helps. I also have a left and right one with the plastic support. I also have the short version of this one. Main complaints about getting it on.... I read the directions and it's easier than the short version read directions people they're there for a reason. 2 velcro... duh velcro picks up everything take something and scoop out yarn, thread, fuzz, dog/cat hair... your velcro will work again! 3 the strap going over your thumb web is NOT suppose to be tight. Over stretching it separates it. It also hurts if it's too tight. I have the short one without the plastic stablizer. It offers more support but isn't stitched on the strap goung over your thumb Short one with the stablizer is stitched on the thumb strap. Doesn't offer ad much support as the above one but adding the plastic does help but I found it more uncomfortable Both short ones do stretch when you get them wet and don't remove them not enough to make them not support you but I'll remove them and put a dry one. Keep them clean they are on your hands all the time and do get dirty even if you can't see it. They recommend cutting the thumb for more movement i don't feel thats a good idea. Every 1-3 weeks I have to trim a smidgen of it because it is getting raggedy I don't ever come close to the seems. I love these splints and will continue to buy till my thumbs are fixed. I hope my long review helps you more than other reviews did me. I learned by trial and error and spent a fortune and ended up with blisters and more pain from other splints. These are by far the best ones I have found and trust me I'm probably over $600 into thumb cmc spints. Review: Best support brace I've ever tried - I'm a waitress and frequently have problems with my hands, from damaged cartilage and carpal tunnel to overstretched ligaments and tendonitis. The last time I had de quervains (tendonitis from thumb to wrist), I was given a wide variety of new braces to try that would give support while allowing me to do my job. This one was new on the market and easily my favorite (my PT's new favorite too!). It's made of wet suit material and the inner foam core has little holes that make it breathable. My tendonitis was in my left hand, but I have since purchased this same support brace for my right hand as well. It's the most comfortable one I've tried, offering support with a wider range of motion than most, without the itchy or sore feeling a lot of the thumb strap ones give. It is a little difficult to get on (um...i use my teeth to pull the strap while my other hand takes care of the velcro...) and I do feel like it stretches out a little. I have this longer model, but I imagine the shorter model is slightly easier to put on with similar support. I don't sweat or itch as much with this brace as with other braces. There's a seam at the base of the thumb so you can adjust the length of the thumb support for more movement/comfort. It supports and compresses a good portion of the forearm, the wrist, and the tendons running up the thumb. Simply put, it's pretty awesome.

Best support brace I've ever tried

Just what the Doctor ordered....
Great product & fit ....may need to go up a size , but overall this is the best brand of 3 that I tried . This is the brand my Doctor said to purchase ...other brands easier to find but not as good .

Fit as it should
I have a short version of this . Have 2 right hand and 1 left. I purchased this one for my right thumb and wrist , although I read some reviews saying it was bulky and hard to put on by yourself I needed to see for myself, I have about 4 different wraps and braces for thumbs and wrists I like cool comforts a lot. The way they hold . When I take it off I get this grating sound and a bone in bone rub in my thumb. The compression is really good. I also have some styloid something in my wrists my injections failed. This brace is exactly what I need. It’s so light . This fit is right . I have a small right. It’s not hard to put on by myself, this is my opinion. My knocking off a star is because of the unraveling around the thumb. I messaged the seller about it. They were nice about it. They said it was meant to be trimmed. My thing is.. it is made from neoprene like skin divers suits. I don’t recall divers having to trim off the frays through the wear . Well maybe they do ? I don’t know any . They are pricey . I’ve gone through one the shorter one . I’m on the 2nd shorter one. It’s fraying around the thumb. It’s getting smaller and smaller in the thumb sleeve. Why can’t there be some kind of zig zag stitch around the edges? So that’s why not 5 stars. But with this longer one it’s what I was looking for and it works for me . Thank you cool comfort , the unraveling is not cool! I have to wear it about 75percent of the time. It does start to look tacky, I don’t plan on any more surgeries so cool comfort has been there, so far .

Does not fit like the shorter version
Waited quite a while to receive, and when I did, it does not fit like the shorter version that ends at the wrist. It runs quite small and with a different design than the shorter version, is almost impossible to put on by yourself. if you can get it on, it does help with the pain.

Comfortable wrist support
Orthopedic recommended after my surgery. Very comfortable and supportive. Easy to wash. Wear it to workout. Much better than others I’ve tried over the years!

Buyer Beware
This item was very uncomfortable and not able to be used to support my wrist with activity. It hurt. I dropped it off at Kohls on March 13 to be returned for refund using the correct Amazon procedure and code. Normally as soon as it is scanned in at Kohls one is issued a refund. Not this time. The tracking has stalled for almost a week and I have no refund. There is no way to contact the company and I'm really annoyed. This is definitely NOT my typical Amazon experience.
