I think these are great finishing frames for after you’ve finished a piece. They have a very cute little hanger on the top that you can hook on a nail, but you can also take it out if you wanna display it by itself. You could probably work out of it but I think it’s better to place on a finished product. I like that it’s bendy and snaps over the piece. Very cute and unique hoops.

Hoops are sturdy and keeps fabric tight. Easy to open with screw driver that’s included.

Works wonders

Pros: The frames are cute, they are inexpensive, and they look a lot nicer than a regular plastic hoop. Cons: - The “hangers” at the top are not installed at the center, are crooked, and come out easily. (One was floating around the package when I opened it. I just screwed it back in.) - It is EXTREMELY difficult to center your embroidery within these frames (whether purchasing the rectangular or ovular version of the product). Because the hoops are not adjustable, they are naturally a little difficult to get on. Easy, if you don’t care about placement. SUPER difficult, if you want your piece in a particular spot, because the fabric slides and moves as you get the hoop closed down around it. It took a lot of tries and colorful language to hoop the projects shown in my picture, and for the two larger hoops, you can still see that the first is offset to the left, the second offset to the right.

These are adorable embroidery rings!! Look like antique wooden rings but are like fake plastic wood. I think these are perfect especially for the price! I will say the fabric I used was more lose fabric. Had I had a material that was tighter it may have been harder to use. You can secure the fabric and it stays pretty tight in there but you can secure it like a normal embroidery ring. But overall it was perfect for what I needed! I wanted to keep my project in the loop so it is perfect!

For display only. I usually like to keep my projects in the hoop I made them in because I’m lazy lol but that’s just not realistic with these. They just don’t hold the fabric tight enough. I gave 3 stars on easy to use because it is really easy to get the fabric in. I ended up buying a 12 in hoop to do the projects in. But these look good enough to hang up. The wood look is surprisingly convincing. The picture is the one I made in this hoop, you can tell how loose the fabric was. It was so frustrating I decided to not to do a matching one like I had originally planned. I didn’t even bother to finish her face lol. But I am excited to frame my next project in one of these. My daughter made a request that this frame will match perfectly. As for the needles that come with the set, they’re probably fine for cross stitch, but were completely useless to me for embroidery.

I ordered this for a project I did for my niece on the way. The hoop was very durable, and I really like the real wood-look it has. I used this when I stitched the piece. I did have to pull the fabric taught a couple times, but no issue there.

FIRST: the hangers aren't installed perfectly in the center BECAUSE the outer hoop is rubber and can be turned. You can recenter it... it's just not delivered to you perfectly. These are awesome. You need 4 hands to put the project in place, but once it's in, it's in!

I really like these hoops. They work as great hoops for gift giving. They only cost around 4 dollars and make the art look graceful.

Came with the largest hoop broken. The rest are fine, not good to embroider in but good to display embroidery.

Used the medium size for my project. Held the project tight for the punch needle project.
