Sand Molding Tools 42pcs Mold Activity Set Compatible with Any Molding Sand

These rule! Even the grownups played with them. The sand easily releases from the molds so my 5 year old grandkids could easily build castles. I really thought they were the perfect size. Photo is of grownups playtime! Lol

Kind of small but they were inexpensive

Pros: +There are so many molds in this set! +They are made of sturdy plastic. +I like the building molds best. My three year old likes the animals. +The molds came in a plastic zip bag that we use to store them when we're not playing. Cons: -The Mr. Potato head style pieces (hands and eyes) don't work in kenetic sand (kenetic sand is too unstable so the limbs just fall off) so we're putting those with our play doh toys. -Some of the details (esp in animals) aren't deep enough; my three year old keeps pointing out that he can't see the eyes of his animals. *****But these are small concerns. It's still a solid purchase and the variety of molds make playtime with our kenetic sand 10 times more fun.

These are very, very tiny! I probably should have looked closer at the measurements. Some molds work well but others require a lot of banging and squeezing to get the sand out of the mold.

I found the package, good condition

I got these molds to create my daughter's custom [kinetic] indoor sandbox kit. Most kits come with about 10 molds/tools, but the box doesn't contain a lid, so I resorted to making our own for about $6 more at the end of the day. This kit offers a lot of variety for the money. It can be used for her sand and play-doh! The molds are nice and plastic is a slightly translucent because of their colors, and have a slight flex, but are firm enough. Keep in mind that the molds vary in colors, so your set may not be in the exact colors as the picture; ie; my sea life creatures are in green and tools in pink. I'm hoping when they get used, that my review and star rating won't change.

Very small plastic moulds. Not worth the price.
