Ruffles Original Potato Chips, 1.5 Ounce (Pack of 64)

Exactly what I expected. Fresh, crisp, well packaged. Will definitely buy again.

I was thinking the foil liner in these packages would outlast the "best buy date" by quite a while ....but as Ron White often says .....BUT I WAS WRONG ...... I ended up throwing out about half the packages. They were perfectly good on arrival, I just tried to extend the shelf life beyond the best by dating. That's the problem with getting a big box. Nice to have them on hand and I like the small portions so I don't get too many carbs, but I need a few months to finish a box this big.

These were very good and the shelf life still hasn't came. Got these at the end of august, and the shelf life isn't until Nov.7th. We only have about 15 bags left, so I will be ordering more soon for the family.

My husband takes these in his lunch pail for work and is a perfect fit and size for his needs. Was very fresh and crispy too.

The chips in these mini 1 ounce size bags are almost stale. There have been quite a few bags that also have these small dark crumby things mixed in with the chips. The box that we received the first few weeks of September has bags of chips in there that do not expire until mid November so it’s not an expiration issue. The chips from that box that we’ve been opening since mid September have tasted stale from day one. We have bought bags of larger size at local stores to compare and there is definitely a taste difference. The small bags of Lays chips are as fresh as their larger bag size counterparts. We will have stick with purchasing the mini bags of Lays chips instead of Ruffles in the future unless we are buying Ruffles from the store.

This was a good, bad idea to order 64 bags of chips! It was a good idea because I love Ruffles. The price per bag was less than $0.50 for me (via subscribe and save). The size is just right for a very small, portioned controlled treat for those savory snackers who are trying to avoid over indulging, but at least get the satisfaction of finishing off a whole bag! (albeit a tiny one) For a small complaint, I don't know if they changed the recipe or whatnot, but it seems to be saltier than usual. Other than that, the expiration date for me was in Feb 2017 (ordered on early Dec 2016) so that's a good amount of time to snack on them all. The bad idea is that there are 64 bags! (not really a complaint, but if you're ordering for yourself, you should know what you are getting yourself into) It was little harder to get through for one person than expected (seriously, what was I thinking?). I did give about 1/3 of the box away. It is Feb now and I am still working on the last few remaining bags before the expiration. I'll freeze the rest and see how that goes.

What can I say about an old stand by snack. Tastes good and bad for you but we eat it any ways!

The box contained chips that have an expiration date of July 28th. Poor quality. I will be looking for another vendor going forward.
