Most likely yes, but I recommend measuring the thickness of the wall and checking the dimensions of the hooks that you can find in the product photo. Hooks can attach tp the windpw up to 11.8inches.

I’ve just purchased the 8ft rope and the bottom ends of the rope are bound with sellotape. Is this correct?

I bought mine years ago, and I'm comfortable with my choice of a 32ft ladder to go with working fire alarms and an extinguisher for that unthinkable scenario living in a fourth story flat, you know what I mean. I think its an expensive option for an 8ft ladder and I think there was a clear plastic round mine at the loops, probably to protect the thread against wear and tear. If you feel the product looks or feels inferior, for 8ft ladders their are a lot of options out there, i'd just send it back. I hope this answer helps. Good Luck!

Excellent quality

The quality of this ladder is excellent. It turned up the next say. The fit for intended purpose was great. I bought this to climb a wall down. It is easy to use and I'd recommend it.

Peace of mind.

Like everyone else, hope we will never have to use this. Have screwed two heavy duty wall anchors underneath the window and have stored the ladder in the wardrobe. Will take one min to clip it on and throw it out the window in the event of a fire. Great peace of mind.

Fire Safety ladder from Apartment.

This is a safety exit device I hope I don’t have to use.The quality seems good and it came quickly.Perhaps overpriced.

Inspires confidence

Strong product. Bought as an emergency safety ladder in case of fire. Sturdy and the guide rope takes away any fear you may have of slipping in an emergency. I have not really tried it out yet and hope never to need to, but it's a product I have faith in.

Window hooks Not fit for purpose :(

Ladder is fine but the window hooks are dire, very poor quality.. Bought these for fire regs and assisted exit from my restaurant for staff but now having to source new hooks...
