Very pleased with the result
The Texture 12 window film was perfect for blocking the view of our neighbor's trash cans and our A/C unit from our bathroom window. Now I can leave the curtains pulled back and let in the light without having to worry about the ugly scenery. It was fairly simple to apply, but I would suggest reading the enclosed instructions first. I cleaned the window very carefully, including scraping away any paint or caulk smears. You deflinitely need to peel the paper backing off the film without getting it wet - make sure your hands are dry as well. You can reposition the film until you get it just right. The directions do instruct you to cut the film to leave 1/8" border between the film and the edge of the window. I agree with this. The Texture 12 is a very thick film and I tried cutting it slightly larger than the glass and then trimming it as others suggested - it was so thick and tough that I couldn't get a clean cut even with a new X-acto blade. I finally had to take the film off and carefully trim it with scissors. I definitely suggest you follow the company's printed instructions or watch the video on their website. One other tip: They do include a squeegee - it's tucked inside the tube of film. I didn't find it until after I'd already used a different one. Also suggest you apply the film when it's dark outside - I didn't see any bubbles when I applied the film in the daylight, but a lot showed up after it was dark and the streetlights were shining in from outside - these were easily fixed by spraying the soapy water mixture on the outside of the film and using the included squeegee to push the bubbles to the edges. You can also peel the film up, respray and then squeegee it back in place. Even with all that, I had the window done in less than an hour and plenty of film left to do another one. Once done, the window looks like real textured glass.

security and good looks: cheap, easy and it looks like I installed custom windows.
Pulled it out of the box, read the instructions, measured and cut. Then I cleaned the window and sprayed it down with a diluted soapy solution and peeled and stuck the vinyl decal to the glass. It slid around easily to get a good fit and then I squeegeed it to remove the bubbles. It couldn't have been easier. It lets plenty of light through and you can see shapes through it, but it subtley masks detail: someone can see me coming to the door, yet they cannot tell that I'm wearing my pants on my head.

Quality product, but don't overlook warnings in the instructions
Was easy to cut and apply following the included instructions - finished result looks high-quality (not cheap) and gave us the privacy we wanted on the window in our front door. The included squeegee was a nice touch and was adequate for the job. Although Artscape claims that you can tile multiple panels seamlessly by aligning the patterns, I think this would be difficult with the "Texture Twelve" design. The instructions warn that "some window manufacturers' warranties are voided when a window film is applied. Window film does not break glass. However, it can reveal or accelerate an inherent defect that is in the glass. Occurrences of breakage are rare." The instructions also mention that the expected lifetime of the product is about 4 years in normal conditions and less than a year if it is exposed to extreme sunlight, heat or humidity.

Nice textured privacy film
I got the style 12 texture. Really subtle privacy option. It still lets light in, has a nice texture to it, and adds privacy! From the outside, you can vaguely see shapes but it’s the perfect option to add privacy without fully covering your glass! It is a bit challenging to cut precise lines on larger pieces but I recommend going 1/8 inch less on all edges for a perfect fit. I still needed to make some cuts of the film as I was adhering it which was challenging to do without the paper backing. But it still looks decent altogether!

Easy to Install and Looks Great
We ordered this film with some apprehension. I am terrible at lining up anything with an adhesive backing and always mess things up. So imagine my surprise when, after cleaning the window thoroughly, I followed the simple instructions and presto. It worked and looks very professional. Here's what you do to put it on. Simply measure your window and mark the backing paper of the film. Cut to the correct size. Get some tape on both sides of one corner and pull apart to start to separate the film from the backing. Spray the window with water. Pull off the film and lay it on the window. It actually floats on the window so you can slide it from side to side till it fits. Then spray the outside of the film with water so the squeegee glides easily and push all the water out from underneath and you have a perfectly textured window. The film doesn't use a traditional adhesive and is quite rubbery. I think the water and the film make some kind of contact adhesion and it feels like the film can be easily removed if required. It does shrink very slightly after it's been applied and the water has dried. And, when you're all done, it looks like real textured glass. I really like it and recommend it to anyone who wants a window effect with minimal preparation and simple install procedure. It really was that easy; it took less than 15 minutes to do the bathroom window and I was taking my time.

Easy installation and looks great.
This film goes on easily and looks great when done. I installed on French doors by myself, but because of the size, another person would have been helpful. Cut the film slightly oversized and trim with a sharp razor once it's up. If you have to remove it, it will come off easily.

Installation isn't the easiest, and I needed my partner to help me put this on straight, but we followed the instructions and got good results. Some small bubbles have reappeared after a few hot days, but they aren't very noticable with the pattern. Miles better privacy at night than the previous sheer curtains. You can barely make out a person standing right by the window, with all the lights on in the room. It's not blockout, but it's a vast improvement and exactly what we needed for a room where curtains or blinds risk getting mouldy. Infinitely cheaper than getting a glazier out and I believe it would be rental-safe!
