CPC-900 6-Qt. High Pressure Multicooker

This is an awesome pressure cooker…I made a large pot of spaghetti in a half hour…amazing…!!!!!!!

I have thrown away two pressure cookers because I could not get the lid on. This baby solves thst problem!!

Ok first off, I Love, Love, Love this Cooker! I will agree with some of the other posters that the manual is the best there is, and it is a little confusing learning how the controls work, but nothing too difficult to get especially when the Internet is your friend. In all this is a wonderful kitchen tool and I don't know why I held off so many years in buying one. It is amazing. It is only my mother and my self to cook for but I truly wish I had had this multicooker when I had kids at home and was working. The Cuisinart CPC-900 6-Quart High Multicooker Pressure Cooker, Stainless Steel is an excellent tool and is really versatile. We love everything we have cooked in it and are often looking up recipes to try in it! You really can't go wrong with purchasing one! Good luck, hope this helps! :)

I have had 4 electric pressure cooker so far. I usually have them until they no longer work. The last one was an InstaPot. I didn't like it. I had to change it before it broke because food kept getting stuck to it. I found this one, and I had a previous good experience with cusinart. I was hesitant because of some of the reviews, but after using it for two weeks, I can say I love it. It is easy to use, to clean, and to store. Excellent product.

Let me start by saying that I am no stranger to pressure cookers and I take extremely good care of all my appliances. I've only owned this newer Cuisinart a little over a month. It is supposed to be the "New and Improved" model replacing the older model Cuisinart. it may be new, but It is NOT improved! I have had my older Cuisinart for over 10 years with no issues. It still has the original stickers on it and it is still working great. Reluctantly, I purchased this newer version from Amazon using gift cards from my children wanting to update to the newer cooker. What a mistake that was! This newer version after 2 uses started spewing liquid and steam out of every crevice severely burning my hand and arm. The first time I used it I found it hard to clean since you cannot detach the lid on the newer model. It is built cheaper and lid is very flimsy. Why a company would take a perfect product and decide one day to change it in the name of "New and improved" actually making it worse is beyond me! Thankfully Amazon said they will issue a refund since I've only had it 38 days. My advice would be to steer clear of this "New and Improved" pressure cooker.

Love it. I have only used it to cook rice, which is why I bought it after reading reviews on rice cookers.

I love, love this pressure cooker. I can't say enough about the ease of opening and closing with one twist. The gasket is attached to a shield which does not come loose, but is easy to remove and clean. Most importantly is the safety steam release. All by pushing a button. No risk of a steam burn. I was unsure about the non stick pot, I have only used stainless steel before. But I must say I like the non stick better. It seems very durable and is super easy to clean. Large lit menu, I can actually read. The cord is detachable. I don't even reach for my instant pots anymore. I just wish they made this model in 8 quart size. I would buy it also. A winner. You won't regret this purchase.
