Great Initial Impression. Worth a look
I bought these to replace my New Balance minimalist shoes that have been out of production for a while. My first impression is that these shoes are fantastic. They are breathable, lightweight, flexible, and the toe box is wide enough to accommodate my wide feet. I typically wear 2E (extra wide) shoes and boots and these are everso slightly wider than what I'm used to, which is a good thing. The heel section fits like a glove to prevent a sloppy fit and the material/construction is comfortable with or without socks. Make sure to measure your foot and reference the size chart offered, my shoes fit me similar to other shoes/boots of the same size. Two minor drawbacks: 1) Shoe laces are the thick round type that don't always stay tied. 2) Insoles comes out every time I take the shoes off.

Great workout shoe
I used to wear vibrams back in the day but those looked silly and Merrill’s vapor gloves more recently. Just got these prios in black and white, and have worn them for 3 gym sessions. I love them so far. Fit great - I wear 13 in most all my shoes and their 13’s fit great - so true to size. I also have wide feet and these have plenty of room where my Merrill’s felt a bit cramped. The “hurachi-sandal-style” straps really lock in the heal for HIIT training and sled work. They seem well made and I expect them to last. Lastly, what I really love is that these actually look like a sneaker and not a foot glove. I’m really happy I stopped researching and pulled the trigger. Amazon was much cheaper than the Xero website which was a plus.

Great, but soles wear faster than expected
Favorite shoe so far (just bought another pair), super comfortable, but do think the soles wear too fast. Got maybe 1000-1500 miles before they were blister factories, and their site does state like a 5k mile warranty so felt a little low on lifespan compared to brand marketing Otherwise pretty good, no forced arches or weird drop, almost like going barefoot. Gate is good when walking Fits well, maybe a touch cramped in toes. And pretty decent look for a barefoot shoe

My husband’s favorite shoes — hands down!
I bought these Xero Crosstraining shoes for my husband when I first started getting into barefoot running and minimalist shoes. He was curious about them and wanted to try a pair for himself. He’s been wearing them for over a year now, mainly for hiking and casual wear, and he still says every single time he puts them on that they’re “the most comfortable shoes he’s ever worn.” He has always preferred shoes with a wide toe box (even before trying minimalist styles), so his feet didn’t require much adjustment. I’ve noticed that he actually stands up straighter in these — in his other shoes with even a small heel, he tended to lean forward a bit. For hiking, he used to wear heavy boots with thick soles and a higher heel, and he never tied them properly — the laces were always loose, which never made sense to me. But with these Xero shoes, he ties them snugly and loves the way he can feel the ground beneath his feet. The thinner sole provides him with better balance and a more secure connection to the trail. What’s even more impressive is how well they’ve held up. After a full year of use, they still look great. The soles aren’t worn down at all, and there are no signs of excessive wear or tear anywhere on the shoe. He genuinely enjoys wearing these shoes, and I can tell he’s not going back to traditional hiking boots anytime soon.

Excellent Quality and Comfort, Stylish Too
I recently started my barefoot/minimalist shoe journey and after getting started with some other brands I decided to go with a higher quality shoe. I decided to give these a try and I'm glad I did. They are extremely comfortable and didn't require a ton of breaking in to reach that comfort level. The lacing system makes these perfect for my narrow feet because it helps apply even pressure across my entire foot instead of just the top and sides of my feet like a lot of other shoes I've worn. They are very durable and have amazing grip and slip resistance as well. I've worn these while rucking and haven't experienced any issues transitioning from dry pavement to wet grass and back. I also haven't experienced any issues transitioning from wet pavement to the smooth concrete used inside arenas. Speaking of arenas, these have to be one of the most versatile shoes I've owned because they work perfectly as exercise shoes and also pair extremely well with a casual outfit for a night out. I give these a 9.9/10 recommendation.

Great, high quality, comfortable shoes!
I recently purchased a pair of Xero Shoes, and I must say, they have exceeded my expectations in every way! As a first-time barefoot shoes owner, I was eager to try something new, and these shoes did not disappoint. First and foremost, comfort is paramount to me, and Xero Shoes delivered on that front. The feeling of being in touch with the ground while still having a protective layer is incredible. The shoes allow my feet to move naturally, giving me a newfound sense of freedom and connection with each step. Putting on and taking off these shoes is a breeze! I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the shoe laces. They are sturdy and durable, providing a secure fit without feeling too tight or restrictive. The laces stay tied throughout my activities, giving me peace of mind during my walks and runs. As a barefoot shoes novice, I can confidently say that Xero Shoes have left a lasting impression. The quality, craftsmanship, and overall design have made me a very satisfied first-time barefoot shoe wearer. I look forward to exploring the world with these incredible shoes on my feet!

Save your dollars and buy Altras instead
I've heard people love these shoes. However, I found them to be extremely uncomfortable and cheaply made. Iended up with severe achilles pain after wearing these for about 4 months. I only wore these shoes indoors in the gym while I was teaching weight lifting classes. I wore them for about two hours a day, three days per week. After the first week, the shoes started to appear worn out and looked misshapen, and lumpy, like they were much older than they were. They have absolutely no support or cushion at all. They felt like floppy house slippers. Also the insole on just one of them became unattached from the inside and then while wearing them, it would inch up and start coming out the back of the shoe. I tried to put them in again every time i put them on, but it would always work itself back out again. I have tried the Adidas zero drop shoe prior to ordering these, which had a little more structure but we're just as uncomfortable. I finally retired the xeros and went with the Altras next. I Absolutely loved the Altras, they have a nice wide toe box, some support and just a little bit of cushion. So if you need a zero drop shoe with a little more support, I recommend trying the Altras brand. They are not supposed to be for weight lifting, but they are good for that in my opinion, even though they say they are for running. Way better than xeros.

Best Barefoot Shoe
WOW, these shoes were way better than I expected. I have been wearing barefoot shoes for a long time and these are the best that I have ever had. The quality of the shoe is great and the fit is perfect. I would recommend these to any one looking for a good barefoot shoe.
