BLACKHAWK CQB/Rigger's Belt

Having completely destroyed over a dozen leather belts over the years, finally decided to try a web alternative, and now I feel a little stupid for waiting so long. This belt will very likely outlive you. Add it to the list of items in your will, leave it to someone who will use it every day and it will probably outlive them too. It is tough. It is substantial. There is no 'foolin around' with this belt - your pants (and your holster) are STAYING on your hip - period. God forbid you get it caught on a train or something, because you will tear in half before the belt does. Yes - it's a little on the big and heavy side. Yes - it's too wide to wear with dress slacks. Yes - it takes a day or so to break it in and get it flexible enough to adjust easily. Yes - it's obviously a weapons-grade piece of gear - not much stealth to it. And Yes - you will have to remove it for TSA - the steel is hard and thick. Great with jeans, BDUs, operator gear and even most duty quality 'docker' type pants (5.11, etc.). Unusable with dress slacks in any fashion, so detectives look elsewhere, but beats the tar out of a doubled duty belt, and carries twice as much more comfortably. No more holster flopping over letting your weapon hit the deck or toilet when nature calls. No more trying to yank up your drawers after a sprint (ever wonder why most belts seem to slip DOWN so easily, but are so darn hard to pull back UP?). No more getting pinched because one hole was just a tad loose and the next was just a tad too tight. No more broken buckle arm during a tumble or scuffle - it's NOT going to happen. IWB, OWB - whatever; your weapon is STAYING with you. If, every waking hour of every day, you need to carry a weapon or gear, don't have to wear dress slacks, and care more about durability and getting the job done than 'fashion', this will be the last belt you ever buy. I personally think it looks fine (my wife dissents), and when I think about how well it does it's job, it gets as pretty and sexy as a plain but 'healthy' girl at closing time. If you regularly read GQ or shop at Barney's this probably isn't your belt - for the rest of us - it is absolutely, simply perfect for what it does. Just sayin. Would I trust my life to a belt? Not until recently, but now, no problem - as long as it was this belt. No surprises, no excuses, no "ifs ands or buts" - that's my kind of gear.

I am a female and my waist runs 28"-30". In a uniform trouser I always order a 30" waist(I like a little room). I listened to the reviews that said this belt runs small and to order a size up. So, instead of ordering the SMALL, I ordered the MEDIUM. It was WAY too big. The tail end wrapped around the entire side of my body. I made arrangements with the seller, Reliable Value, and mailed/exchanged my belt for a size SMALL. I mailed the belt out on a Tuesday and received the new belt the following Monday. NOTE-to exchange the belt you need the tag that is on it, the original packaging, and it needs to be in brand new condition. Yes, you have to pay for the return shipping, but, they will pay to ship the new belt to you. I did measure the MEDIUM belt. The material is 45" long from buckle to tail end. About the belt: the SMALL belt is a PERFECT fit. I am an instructor and needed a professional functioning and looking belt to wear with my uniform, 5.11 Tactical(khaki) pants and black polo shirt. This belt fits the bill. It looks really sharp and completes the uniform. The belt material is thick and sturdy, and the velcro holds well. I measured the SMALL belt. The material is 38" long from the buckle to tail end. The width, 1 3/4" fits my tactical pants but I'm not sure if it would fit all pant loops. This is a great belt for professionals. I hope all this information helps those trying to decide what size to order.

I’ve had this exact belt for 10 plus years. I grew out of it and had to get a new one. This belt is extremely rugged and strong. I think it’s the best belt by far for a great price. The steel belt loops can hold up to 750lbs.

I purchased this being fed up with regular "buckle" type belts never fitting me correctly without punching an additional hole and standard rigger's belts loosening up during daily activities. It was ordered late Saturday night and delivered Tuesday morning by USPS in perfect condition. The belt is very stiff right out of the box, but I am sure that will ease up with use. I have a 33 inch waist, so I selected a size small, up to 34 inches. The fit is near perfect, with just the right amount of overlap to secure onto the hook and loop closure. However, I usually have a ccw (Beretta model 92fs) which I normally carry iwb, and with a little more forethought would have went with the next size to accommodate this fact. Having seen that the soft side of the velcro extends around to the middle of the back, I will be ordering another one size larger and using this one at work. I have not had the opportunity to test out the d-ring feature as of yet, but it is very sturdy like the rest of the belt and will see a lot of use for safety strap attachment. I will leave additional feedback on that at a later date. Overall, I would recommend this item if you have the need for it. As for "normal folks" everyday wear, I think you might find the buckle and d-ring are slightly bulky and have some weight to them. As stated before, I will be purchasing another. I feel that is enough said. Another great Blackhawk product.

Pretty good product, the buckle could be a little tighter, but all in all a decent product.

Ich trage den Gurt täglich bei der Arbeit. Durch die breite Form liegt er sehr gut an und verteilt den Druck von montierten Taschen, Halftern und anderen Accessiors. Die Verbindung/ Montage von gängigen Halftern u.ä. funktioniert sehr gut.

180/88 おなかが出ている中年体型ですが、Mサイズで丁度いいベルトの長さです。似たような安い物とは違い、厚みがありつつ、そこまで固くないので着け心地が良いです。色は画像より濃い目・白っぽさは全くありません。ベルクロはしっかり縫製されており、金具に錆・傷等はありません。

I've read numerous reviews regarding size of these belts and was dubious about what size to order. I have to say that for a size 30" waist the small was absolutely fine. The size would cover a 30"-32" quite comfortably without too much over hang. Fits perfectly in a standard jeans loop. Nice stiff strong material with good hook and loop closure. The only gripe and I'm afraid it's a trade off is the buckle. Which tends to protrude a little too much when closed which in turn adds a lump to your tops so that if your carrying anything at your front it tends to either A leave a mark or B at worst put a hole in the garment where it rubs. But that the trade off for the strength of both the buckle and the material. You cannot have both. Overall I'm very pleased with the belt and easily carries the items I wear on my belt without sagging. Looks good too which is a bonus. As for the strength of the buckles that I cannot say and hopefully apart from keeping by kit in order I hope I don't have to find out. But reassuring to know they should be strong enough if the case needs it.

Was soll man sagen, wer schon einmal Artikel von Blackhawk in Verwendung hatte, der wird die Qualität nicht mehr missen wollen. Materialqualität tadellos, sauber vernäht (verstärkt). Die „Schnalle“ und der „Abseil“ V Ring sind aus massiven Stahl. Auf YouTube findest man einen Ausgiebigen Test in Sachen Belastung im Bereich des „Rappel“. Der Artikel ist in der Anschaffung natürlich nicht günstig, aber wer sich im Ernstfall auf seine Ausrüstung verlassen muss, kommt dabei nicht drumrum. Vorerst Empfehlenswert. Langzeittest folgt...
