Duel sport saddle bags
Purchased to mount on my Yamaha Tenere 700. Fit good and look great. Just the right size for the bike. Well made and easy to mount.

Compact Yet Spacious
These bags are installed on my 2021 Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster. I already have a swing arm bag and a small bag off the rear of the bike; I prefer to ride with these around town because they are retro and minimalist to fit the bike's style. My goal was to find bags that I could easily install and remove, and which would be adequate for a 2-3 day trip. Also, I didn't want massive bags that would hang too far down and contact my swing arm bag. Preferring the uncluttered look, I wanted something that could be removed quickly--without also requiring unsightly saddlebag brackets. The Nelson Rigg CL-890 Mini Expandable Sport Saddlebags fit the bill perfectly. I was pleasantly surprised that when expanded, a single bag was large enough to hold my large leather jacket with all of its armor. The expandable size gives you 20 liters of space, and that's what sold me on it. And yet, with the expandable zipper closed, the bags are very compact, which looks good on a classic bike like the Speedmaster. Mounting was easy, but I decided to reverse the mounting direction from what I've seen in pictures. I put the tapered side toward the front of the bike because it provides nice spacing from my swing arm bag. And, the bag length of these means there's more than an inch or space from the back of the bag to the turn signals. (These are mounted on a Corbin dual seat, so I don't know how this would fit on the standard Triumph rear seat, which is not as wide.) My only nitpick would be the length of the connecting straps. They are not long enough to reach the foot pegs, although I found another attachment point. These straps should be twice the length to be serviceable for more kinds of bikes. But this wasn't enough of a negative for me to reduce this to a 4 star rating. Finally, the fabric feels durable and the double zippered top opening is a nice touch. Plus, the protective padding on the back side protects from the bag scuffing any of the shiny parts and paint on the fender. Normally I avoid rain, but I coated the entire fabric with a water repellent spray just in case. For the $$, these are the best deal and most feature-laden compact bags I could find.

Nice looking
These seem to be a quality product. Easy to install and look good on the bike. Haven't loaded them up yet or tried them on the road but anticipate they will be just fine for what we need. Very reasonable price for what you get.

Great for sport bike riders who want some storage
The bags hold a lot more than they look like they would and are surprisingly easy to assemble onto the bike. The straps being velcro definantly threw me off but theyre pretty durable and even at high speeds and having a passenger sit on them stay strapped and secure to the bike. These bags are decently water resistant but are not water proof, they do get soggy. In case you were curious also the bags do not have any sort of locking feature so youd have to purchase some sort of zipper lock on your own if you wanted to ensure nothing was stolen out of them. They can be mounted lower and closer to the bike or more upright and outward - whatever floats your boat. (shown is 10qts of oil in the bags that was taken on the highway for 15 miles and held perfectly fine)

Works great on a BMW g310gs
I was able to mount it under the seat and get it the right height above the pipe using the generous amount of wide velcro strap used to link the bags together. The double zipper is easy to open and close. I love that. The zipper side pocket makes phone cords etc. easily accessible. The amount of strap points provided makes them work with no extra guards needed. I've tipped over a few times in rough stuff at low speeds with no damage to the bags. I've only been in light rain for longer periods, and hard rain for short periods. They weren't wet inside. But the zippers aren't actually waterproof. I love them, and will get them again if I get another bike. Update after two years. The bags are still good and I like them. But they do fade a lot. Zippers and everything else all work great and I've given them a lot of use. So just wish they didn't fade so fast.

I looked at pretty much all of the bags available and found these ...
I looked at pretty much all of the bags available and found these to offer the features I wanted and based on my experience with Nelson Rigg (rain suit and boot covers) I chose them. I am definitely pleased with the materials, construction and the way they fit my bike, a First Gen Suzuki SV650S. I also got the rain covers and they are the same excellent quality and fit great. The only negative comment I will make is getting the stiffeners in was about like trying to put a sweater on a cat. It is a real struggle with the cat fighting the whole time but the cat seems to like it after I got it on him. The second bag went much easier after the learning experience and struggle with the first one or maybe it was the beer break I took after the first one.

Ok for the money - but needs support
I bought these for my VStrom 650 The Good: - They are roomy for their size and the zipper is easy to operate - The side bags come very handy and access is easy - Expanding them is easy and it adds a lot of additional space The Bad: - Even thought they are small, the sag easily once loaded (I bought saddle bag guards to make it work) - There is no mounting option at the bottom of the bags, and you can't tie them down solid if/when you have guards - The internal liner provides stiffness but is too long. I ended up cutting 0.5 cm off and sealed the edge with duct tape - there are fittings for cross-strap to connect the two bags and it is described in the manual, however the strap does not come with them They are "ok" for the money and I'll use them until I get/find hard cases I like.

Game changer, best customer service
The bags are great, they can hild a lot, I wish the piece that's designed was a little bit more secured in the bag and I didn't have to fix it so often but that might just be me. The best things about the bags are the warranty, I had the left bag rip a little on me and contacted Nelson rig, they sent brand new bags before I could even read their response! That was 6 thonths ago and the left bag ripped again (try your best to not overload the left bag since it's at an angle when the bike is on the kickstand) and again Nelson rig responded to an email I sent almost immediately and am getting the new bag sent to me in less than 48 hours I'll have the new bag and be ready to go. Wish all returns and warranty exchanges were as smooth as how Nelson rig handles it!
