Virtue Restorative Hair Mask Treatment for Damaged Hair with Keratin and Baobab Seed Oil, Safe for All Hair Types, Color Safe

Whenever it's time to wash my thick, very long, frizzy Puerto Rican hair, I used to dread the three hours it takes to wash, condition, mask, style and get ready to go. I use Virtue Smooth shampoo, smooth conditioner, all of their unfrizz creams and sprays. I even use the healing oil now and then. But this, right here, is the product that keeps my hair feeling smooth, manageable and amazing. I leave it on my washed and conditioned hair (damp) for about 10 minutes before rinsing thoroughly. It leaves my hair smelling amazing, shiny and WAY easier to manage the thickness and heaviness. It makes my hair strong to stand up to hear styling. It completely eliminated oiliness and left my hair feeling great.

I have dry and damaged hair, so that makes me a perfect candidate for this. I really love that I don’t need to coat my hair with this to liberally to get an effective deep conditioning treatment; I find that a little goes a long way with this. I only used it 3 times and I have about 2, maybe 3? more uses (5-6 applications all together) which is impressive for 1.7 oz jar. After drying my hair, I notice how intensely nourished, smooth my hair feels, somewhat less breakage, yet it leaves it feeling so lightweight and a slightly fuller appearance too. I went on their website for the end of the year sale they have and got a back up hair mask along with their split end serum and healing oil. The smell is mild and very pleasant. Someone pointed out it smells like snicker-doodles and that all I can smell from this now! If you’re someone who is willing to splurge on a really good hair mask, give this one a try!

Outstanding to restore shine and hydration to hair. Like to keep it on for 30 minutes with plastic haircap. Love the fragrance.

Left my hair super smooth after 1st use. It did not eliminate all the frizz, not sure how it helped either , but the hair is soft. Not crazy about the smell, so removed 1 star.

not sure how we went from 5.0 ounces to 1.7 ounces and I think the price is about the same for a Lot less oz? Please bring back the bigger size at the $36 price, thank you

This treatment worked great for my naturally curly, highlighted hair that is also damaged from blow drying and flat ironing. I used this after washing with Virtue Smooth shampoo and was left with silky, light smooth hair--no heavy feeling that some deep conditioners leave behind. It also seemed to accelerate the blow drying process, which I haven't seen mentioned elsewhere. It has a pleasant sweet coconut scent. I have tried a few different Virtue products but this treatment is my favorite so far. I will continue to use this product and recommend it highly, especially if you have heat-damaged hair that is dry or brittle.

just tried it! left my hair like silk but I left it on about 30 minutes rather than 5 or 10 as suggested

I love Virtue hair products. The hand lotion is very nice. I’d say the size of the hair mask would be great for travel

Jar was tiny! Two, maybe three, applications at a stretch. Massively expensive for what you actually receive. That said, the mask was nice but not as nice as it needed to be for the price charged!

A little bit goes a long way. I just left my hair after using the conditioner. It was a bit greasy yet didn’t control the frizz that well. My hair is already thick but looked even thicker.

I was hopeful following the description of how it works, but no better than a normal conditioner. In this damp air, my hair frizzes and becomes ‘big’! The only thing I’ve used which has controlled it was Philips Kingsley Smooth Cream, but they’ve stopped making it.
