great kit to explore internet of things
I'm still going through the lessons and I am on lesson 14. I'm running on a Mac and have had few problems with software or hardware. The way the "house" is put together with little rubber bands made assembly easy. The lessons on the OSOYOO are well illustrated but the English translation is a little rough to understand at times. ( I hope it was translated) I finished all the lessons and everything ran. I will use the house to set up a programming class with my grandchildren over Zoom. I plan to buy them each a kit and work with them over Zoom to get it running.

This is useless. Does not work
I am a very proficient hardware/software engineer and bought this to help my grandson get some education. It does not work. The programs that are required to be downloaded and installed are completely useless.

El número de clases proveídas no está completo y tampoco se utiliza una buena app para controlar la maqueta.

Maybe You Should Purchase a Different Model?
My 8 year old grandson loves this kit, especially the fact that it utilizes the internet. It's the first thing he asked about when he opened it up. The kit goes together easily and the rubber band holders work well and can easily be disassembled when plugging cables in gets to be too fiddly. Fortunately, I've been working with the Arduino for a few years, so I can easily make changes and additions. My issues: 1. There isn't a door to open/close in the doorway. Watching the servo spin doesn't cut it. I fashioned a make-believe door, attached it to the servo and have it rotate in/out of place. Not ideal, but kids do have great imaginations. 2. None of the exercises utilizes the pushbutton switches. Not a problem for me, but other grandads might have trouble if they don't work with Arduino's themselves. C+ code and syntax can be frustrating. 3. The sound alarm (microphone sensor) needs the piezo buzzer moved close to it so it activates the alarm signal. Then why not mount it next to the microphone instead of 3 inches away? 4. The cable connectors are on the bottoms of all the sensors and other devices. That makes it really difficult to insert the cables (thus the comment above about easy disassembly). Without a doubt, this is a fine kit, but there are many others out there that may not have so many issues nor require prior knowledge. My grandson still looks forward to working with this one and so do I. Lots of happy hours together. There are lots of learning experiences on how to figure things out due to these undocumented features, which is OK. It teaches perseverance and builds confidence when solutions are discovered.

Great present for an up and coming computer Geek!
We got this for our young man neighbor who has developed a serious interest in computers He ws overjoyed when he unwrapped it! His dad said it was perfect because some of it was at his level now but some he would grow into and not get bored.

Good start, but missing instructions
I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this, it's a great little project. It didn't come with any instructions nor any indication of where to find it. After getting the box from the trashcan, I went to the website and navigated around a little bit to find the instructions. Took off one star for that, no directions, no telling us where to go to even start.

Save yourself sometime and headaches!
This is a wood cutout with a starter kit of sensors and ect. I have else ware bought and had all these things hoping this would have manual guides and all that. Directions are almost useless the lessons are not included. A basic starter kit is cheaper and cardboard is all this is save yourself a headache. If you do buy the black with white connector board goes on top of the blue main board. Also have fun with the m1 nuts and bolts almost microscopic. In conclusion wouldn't recommend for price quality and instructions.
