I have been using this bag as my main tote bag for my laptop, planner, lunch, etc. to take to work. I love the look of the leather. There was an odd smell at first, but it has dissipated over time. It has held up well and the leather has aged and worn well. The small zippered pocket and 2 open pockets on the inside are just the right size for pens, etc.

I've had it for months now, and it's holding up really well to daily use. I've had zero 'smell' issues; the interior pockets are enough for me, and it stands up by itself. It is light when empty - unlike a lot of other leather totes, which are heavy with nothing in them. Mine looks exactly like the photo. I shopped for a long time and finally bought it, and I'm sorry I waited so long now. It's comfortable and simple, not over-styled or designed. Delighted by this purchase! This product is terribly made. The leather is very low quality grade, and there were several areas on the bag. The straps were not completely finished. They forgot some of the stitching one handle was finished in a square shape, the other side of the handle came to a point like a triangle. You could see the stitching was very loose, you could also see markings on the bag where a candle was supposed to be sewed in, but it was as if whoever made the item did not care that they did not follow the marking guidelines. At first, I thought I could live with the quirkiness of how the bag was put together as a light different thing, however, after really looking at the product, I would be embarrassed to use it. Granted, I know that it was not extremely expensive because I needed it for work but I still like four things to look relatively good and how they are supposed to learn from a picture. The bag that I received very little light that I am in the Amazon ad. I read the reviews, and most all of them said exactly what I am saying, but I always give people the benefit of the doubt but this time I have to say the joke was on me. I should’ve listened to the reviews. Just some words of advice, if the company would take more time to pay attention to detail for cut the price in half then maybe I could understand the issues. First: It really does smell weird, and it isn’t a “leather” smell. I love the smell of leather, and this isn’t it. After oiling the bag myself and leaving it in the sun for a week the smell is now only barely noticeable. With that said, I truly love this bag. I needed a bag to carry my laptop and a few other items in for day trips to see my clients. This bag fits the bill while looking stylish and professional. At the same time, it looks great with casual outfits. I sometimes thread a colorful scarf through the holes and tie it shut that way. I also have added a few layers of oil and sat the bag out in the sun for a few days to darken the leather and bring out the vintage style.

I love this leather tote I have used it for years. I have had a number of compliments. The leather still looks amazing. It has held up carrying laptop, water bottle and more. The size is great. It is not heavy. The shoulder straps are wide and don’t dig into my shoulder.

The purse looked gorgeous and sturdy on the pics but it came in a thin wrapped bag inside my mailbox. It’s wrinkled up, cheap cheap leather. Pretty janky. Disappointed

The tote is small. Nice finish and color is accurate like the one advertised. No bad smell noticed other than leather. Well stiched. No blemishes noticed but will need some leather conditioner to soften up a little more. A decent buy for toting around small items such as a laptop or books. If you need this to tote around some clothes then all you're going to have room for is about 2 pairs of jeans, a t-shirt and sweater. That's it.
