Unfortunately, I bought this in the hope that I would no longer have strap marks on my face every morning. I ended up with even deeper indentations than normal. The headgear is very poorly designed. The straps are far too short and extremely hard to adjust when you are attempting to either fit or adjust your mask. The straps are so short that the mask ends up digging into your face and even then you don't get a good seal. The velcro is nasty and pulls out big chunks of hair if you are not careful. You cannot adjust this if you are laid down. I have only got a small head and I use a small cushion FFM. In my opinion, this headgear interferes with your CPAP therapy in a negative way. I was woken up several times due to mask leaks and discomfort issues. On the 2 nights I used this headgear, my sleep was constantly interrupted and I felt lousy in the mornings. I have gone back to my original headgear and am now sleeping soundly. Avoid this item, it will not benefit your therapy.

Total rubbish! Washed this for the first time (a gentle wash) and then it all fell apart on certain bits. Don't let the description fool you. Said its 3 layers worth and how strong it is. And it also said it can be washed without problems, well here's the problem after the very first wash. Don't buy it, plus it doesn't sit right with the mask, not a good fit. Got a cheek to say its universal as it doesn't fit well with the loops on the front of the mask. Spend more money on a better one that will fit and not fall apart. Total disappointment and waste of money. Want a refund.

bought this so that i have two, so that i can wash my other one and still use my cpac. it fits same as the standard one and doens't cost the earth. dont get me wrong, the one you get with the cpac is a better quality, but this is a very good substitute. thanks neil

Been using a CPAP for years, have worn out headgear and straps and CPAP machines. I actually ordered this 4 point strap and another one at the same time, hoping one of these would be satisfactory. This one was of high quality so I never even opened up the other one I got at the same time. I just put it away for when this one wears out. This one has very smooth and comfortable straps, was easy to put on, and the Velcro fasteners have held up well. Not everyone uses this type of CPAP strap but I am used to this style and too old and stubborn to change. The main word to describe this produce is "comfortable", and I feel lucky that I got one that was. Sometimes if it is not to expensive, I end up ordering several with the hopes of getting one that work, and I don't send anything back. That is why these reviews are so important - so we know what products are a good value, a great value, of high quality, or just plain junk. Happily, this was a good one for the old Norwegian.

Tried the "universal" strap replacements. Stretched out in weeks. Going to stick with the ResMed brand. Muchy more expensive than the universal straps. Much better quality with this. Get what you pay for.

Check the pic. This strap is *not* a replacement for Philips Respironics Amara View mask straps. You can attach the four points of the strap to the four points of the mask, but the tension from the back of your head will pull down, not straight back, and the mask will slip — or at least not sit naturally snug, and require you to tighten the straps more than you may want. “Universal” four-point masks are built with a taller nose, and the top points attach higher up on the face than Amara View masks. Also, the velcro ends flip the opposite way to Amara velcro, sitting inside not outwards once cinched, making it harder to adjust after the mask is on your face. That said, the fabric on the strap is soft, and the velcro is tight, but if the soft side is in, the velcro cinches in too.
