I’m really impressed with how much volume this messy bun adds. I have thin hair, and this makes it look like I spent way more time on an updo than I actually did. And so much more fuller. ​Texture & Feel: The synthetic fibers are surprisingly soft and don't have that "plastic" shine that some extensions have. It blends seamlessly with my natural hair. ​Ease of Use: It’s as simple as putting your hair in a bun and wrapping this over it like a scrunchie. This is absolutely adorable I am always wearing my hair in a messy bun but my hair is super fine. This matched my hair color perfectly and is exactly why I am looking for. This was by far one of the best purchases I’ve made. Highly recommend.

The pros would be that it is easy to use takes me minutes to secure it and continue with my day. It really is heat resistant which is good and bad. the straight ends can be slightly curled, but not spiral curled. Out of the packaging it is very soft and there is no weird smell. comes with a hair tie and bobby pins Cons would be that after a few wears with no products it becomes very tangled, harsh and unruly. I have not washed it yet to see if it becomes oft again. The texture is very silky, and for silky textured hair. If you have thin hair it looks a tiny bit odd to have such a full bun, I thinned mine out a little bit to fix this. and lastly its tricky to match hair color its either spot on or a bit off. Future cons that I can already see that's going to happen in the future, is that the elastic is going to become very loose and might be difficult to fix so you'd have to just buy a new unit all together even if the actual hair is still good. ***Update*** I washed and conditioned it but it is still not as soft as it was right out of packaging. it is still harsh to the touch, and I've only had it for a week :/ with wearing it maybe once a day for a couple of hours. 4 to 3 stars now...

UPDATE: As I was searching for a different hair piece, I came across a different "messy bun" listing from the same brand that looked like the one I received. So either they sent me the wrong one or they are misrepresenting what they show they are selling in this listing. Either way, I can no longer trust this brand. I've ordered this same hair piece before and I really liked it! It had a good amount of hair and the color was good. So when I needed to get another one I ordered this one again, although I had to search for it because the page I originally ordered it from said it was currently unavailable. So I searched and found It on a new page same brand and same picture. But when this one came I was very disappointed with it. While the color was an even better match than the previous one, the quality was terrible! The volume of hair seemed like half as much as the previous one and the styling of it was really wonky and just bad! I should have just returned it then, but decided to try and make it work, and it just does not look good! I finally gave up and went back to my old one which is really starting to look pretty ratty now, but it still looks better than the other one! So I'm now past my return window and still just so unhappy with this hair piece! Hopefully I can find a better one from a different seller.

A perfect match to hair dye- L’Oréal Paris Excellence Creme Permanent Hair Color, 5RB Medium Reddish Brown, 100 percent Gray Coverage Hair Dye,- This is the dye i use and this matches perfectly . It looks so natural. It is very easy to use . Just make a ponytail and place this around like a hair tie. I will secure with a Bobby pin if it is really windy out or if i am going to be running or jogging or exercising . It is good quality. The hair does not look fake and real shiny like it sometimes can with these products. The volume is nice this piece has some curl and spike to it which i love . It is one size fits all. It is thick enough that you don't see stitching etc. but not so thick it looks like you are wearing a squirrel on your head lol. I use a comb on the spikes parts and i use a small pick on the curls. I store them in a ziplock bag laying flat out of bright lights. I have never had a fading issue ,from light sun;but do not want any either. I have used just water to clean but if you place hair spray on it you may need a wig shampoo.i have even worn one in the poll no issues from chlorine no hairs falling out not sure if you should swim in it repeatedly, but it was a pool party and it worked! I have gotten many compliments one individual hadn't seen me in a year and said wow your hair got so long it looks great ! How can you beat that ? You can be ready to go in a matter of minutes and look like you spent an hour on your hair . If you are a busy person , a mom, or just someone who enjoys a new look without committing to a haircut .. this is for you !
