With the comparison on the wall, the 51 led looks brighter and bigger than the 128 led but this is misleading. The 128 led illuminates urine vividly, where as the spots are easy to miss with the 51 led. The 128 led works in a lit room and in the dark. The 128 led is very high quality for a great price. The 51 led was $5 cheaper and is not even close to the quality and vibrance of the 128 led. The video is two comparison clips combined, the first half is a very fresh urine spot and the second half is two old spots. The two different photos have the original, warm color filter and black and white. The results speak for themselves.

This flashight works very well. I bought it for finding urine spills from dogs. It does that nicely. It emits a strong blue light and shows where the urine spots can be found easily. It uses AA batteries and they are held in place by 2 cluster pods. You load the cluster pods with batteries and put the pods in the flashlight. Keeps the size of the flashlight smaller that way. The on/off switch is on the end of the flashlight and is a pushbutton. A solid click. Seems to be a well made unit and solid.

It works great, exposes everything. Am I glad we got this? Maybe. Now I can see everywhere the cats have sprayed and puppy has dribbled. Maybe ignorance was bliss. I could see this being good in a new apartment, hotel, etc too. Or horrifying. But it works great and does what it's supposed to do. Be aware that some cleaners and detergents have phosphates (we shouldn't buy those because of algae blooms but many do) and that also glows in blacklight. So don't drive yourself crazy trying to clean off your cleaner with more cleaner. Overall this is very bright, rather heavy feeling and sturdy. Easy to use in any light but best in a dim or dark room.

Product came to me in good condition. Its a nice sturdy flash light. Not to heavy. Right out the gate, when I tried it out the first evening, it was dusk and I immediately spotted a scorpion under our gas meter, that I definitely would have missed with the naked eye. I have another one of these types of flashlights but it is much smaller. This one covers a bigger area and allows me to scan the area faster than my small one. Its a good feeling to know I have something that helps to keep myself and my dogs safe. Thank you for a good, fair priced product.

This light does everything I wanted it to do. Sadly it showed me that my dog needs remedial house breaking! Urine shows up shiny yellow. It also showed my where dust had accumulated next to my baseboards - the dust shows up shiny blue. The 6 batteries don't last a real long time. But plenty long to go room to room, identify any problem areas, and then go back after cleaning to make sure it's all cleaned up. Highly recommend if you don't mind bad news.

Used the light two times and on the third use it would not turn on. Replaced the batteries and still nothing. What i can troubleshoot, the on off switch is bad With only 30 days warranty not a good product to purchase it you want to use it more than a few times.

I’ve purchased this light two times before. One for my home and one for my shore house. It works amazingly!! It shows EVERYTHING so be prepared! I accidentally left one out side in a snow storm so I wanted to replace it. I thought I bought the same light to replace it. (It looked the same) IT WAS NOT!! I just received my new amazing light. Make sure you get the one with 120 lights. Now I have piece of mind!! (Believe it or not,in the last photo they are both turned on)

It starts off bright but quickly dims, which tells me you end up using batteries like crazy. Its okay if you're using it for a quick scan to look for scorpions in a room. It was also great at detecting my little girl's pee hiding spot, but I had it on for about 3 to 5 minutes to identify potty spots and the light went down considerably. I'm highly considering a rechargeable one at this point. This is the second one I buy and they're both good in short spurts but the batteries are a problem. Unless you own stock on Duracell or you like spending money on batteries.
