Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Heroes 2: The Phantom Fortress

this is a game that is great in all of my personal 4 categories 1. graphics- even though it isn't great. this game should be credited for its crisp animations and beautiful art style 2.sound- phantom fortress is full of catchy tunes nice sound effects and greatly voiced dialogue, at least in japanese(don't worry there is subtitiles) 3. gameplay- this game has you journey up 100 floors of the phantom fortress. all the while you'll be fighting using different characters against many other characters. other than that, there are plenty of mini games throughout. the core gameplay itself is a simple 2d fighter but it is always a blast to play. i never got tired of this game my entire first and second playthrough(you can choose more characters your second time through!!) 4. story- this isn't taken from an arc from naruto part 1. but if you want to look at it that way you can consider it a filler or a "side-story" that takes place between part 1 and part 2. It itself is an interesting isolated tale about a girl inside the phantom fortress who seems to have a grudge against our heroes. As the story progresses you'll want to know more about this girl and you'll want to know how this story will end. Well, i guess what im trying to say is, BUY THIS GAME, you know, if you're even remotely interested in the story and/or if you're a psp owner looking for a fun casual fighting game to last you a long while.:)

This was a good game. It added onto the previous game in the series by increasing the playable character count. It has the same features as the last game (except no increasing of specific character abilities) plus two adventure modes. The first is a new story made exclusively for the PSP game and revolves around Naruto and the other genin. The second is an alternate version of the first story in which you play as Jiraiya, Tsunade, Shizune, and Kakashi. The game is a must-have for Naruto fans, period; but if you are looking for a great game overall you might get bored with this. It gets repetative and most characters are basically the same. So buy it...or don't.

This game is great its similar to ultimate ninja 3 except less characters. The game has a story mode called mugenjo were you climb the 100 hundred floors do minigames and battle enemies. I prefer this game over heroes 3 because 3 lack the fighting game play that I like. Before I bought the game I stressed about which game to choose 2 or 3 but im glad I chose 2. The game has a vs mode where you battle it out with enemies. You can collect collectibles in the Mugenjo (story mode) which you can use in narutos house. The game has twenty three characters. I would say more but I dont want to spoil the game so just buy it and see why im happy with it.

I love Naruto so maybe I'm a bit bias and I did play love playing Naruto Ultimate Ninja on my PS2...but this game is really fun and you can spend hours playing it. I got it and started playing it right away. It does repeat, but it's not as if you can't change that by what scrolls you pick. It's also change the voices of the Characters from English to Japanese and still have the subtitles which I thought was a plus! Over all it's a great game for a Naruto lover and for a person that loves Fighting games.

This is a really nice game. It is not as violent as I thought. Great and affordable. I have not played it myself, but my son liked it very much.

Very good The way i thought

The game was listed as “New” but upon inspection I found out it was resealed. Still it’s in pretty good condition and even has the manual for a 2008 videogame. Haven’t played it on my PSP yet, but this review is about the overall condition I got my package.
