I used this to hem my curtains but they keep opening up! What should I do?

Hi Neg, I do love this product, and I'm sorry you are having difficulties with it. I have learned from experience that I, at least, must use a LOT of tape ( or liquid, or sheets, etc. ) to achieve the results I want. So, projects can become a bit pricey, but the results are Awesome!. I don' t know the thickness and weight of your fabric, or the width of the hem you want. I found that the heavier and denser my fabric is determines the amount of product I will need. When thick or heavy, I use the tape on BOTH wrong sides of the fabric. I also put tape on Every Bit of fabric which needs to be fused. No bare spots! If your hem is wide, you may want to consider using the Peel-n-Stick Fabric Fuse SHEETS. You can cut them to the exact size you need, and the entire area is instantly covered ( so you don't need to use row after row of tape!). And when I do find a little gap, I simply squirt a little of the liquid Fabric Fuse into the gap and apply pressure. All of the projects and clothing I have used with my Fabric Fuse products have been through the wash several times, and have been used or worn in a very casual way--no special treatment. They continue to function in the way I intended---and with NO IRONING! I hope this long squawking from me will be of some use to you, Neg. And I hope all your projects turn out just the way you want them to, and that you have fun working on them!

Can you sew over this item once you have it between two layers of fabric or will it mess up my machine?

We do not recommend sewing or ironing this product. It is not intended for that purpose. We do have other options in our line that are sewable such as HeatnBond Lite if you are looking to sew a project.

Can you take off easy if you do not want the pair of pants hemmed anymore?

Yes, you can peel it off very easily.

Can I use this product to close a gap in my bikini ?, has double glue ?, melts with the heat?
